Is there a patch in the works for this game? I hear there are a lot of bugs/glitches. How bad are they?

It's already been patched. I notice a little less jankiness, but otherwise, load times are still retarded if you don't clear your cache and things still get stuck in walls or floors.

I can't stop playing this game...I'm level 24 now and fucking unstoppable with Boone and Rex.

I can't stop playing this game...I'm level 24 now and fucking unstoppable with Boone and Rex.

I think I played it too much. I've pretty much had it with the game. It never even peaked with me. There was no climax in the game. Just quest grinding.

After I hit level 30, I think I'll move on. Which will work out perfectly, cause Black Ops should be out by then.

I've about had it, too. But I do enjoy wandering the wastes and random questing.

Level 30 isn't that far away, so we'll see what happens when I get there. I may just end-game it at that time.

Boone is pretty durable and doesnt take much damage as a sniper, Lily the nightkin is supposed to be pretty resilient as well

boone never fails for me on hardcore. ed-e is weak, but has gotten better now that im leveling up more.

the crashes are become a huge issue now. the deeper u go the worse it gets. i get at least 3 crashes a night now. I also have to clear my cache every 2 days now. otherwise load times are horribly long.

im still really enjoying the game despite the hassles

i am getting annoyed with this game. i assume alot of others are too since the discussion is gone for this one. But the crashes and tech glitches are really becoming a nuisance. not just crashes but constantly having to go back, or reload saves because my followers all of a sudden are not following anymore. Sometimes i dont notice right away so it makes it even worse. plus them not following orders and just running into an area full of bad guys and getting killed. i only want them around for loot, but caps are not hard to come by and the need to even check for loot is not needed now because all u find is the same crappy stuff. and i only care about energy weapon ammo and guns which will only be found in specific areas.

i am glad i got 60 hrs in, but im sure im only about halfway thru....this one might be traded for black ops simply because of the glitches

90 hrs in now and getting towards the end. its funny cause i will play for about 2 hrs and feel like i accomplished nothing. half the time is playing, the other half is watching load screens. its not even the long loads....its the amount of loads. u half to load every time u go in and out of a door or area, and this game is full of quests that take advantage of going back and forth between areas.

a simple quest like going and talking to someone, then reporting back can involve 8-10 loads back and forth. its hard to get into doing missions when thats what u deal with. i am gonna try and finish it tonight after i get to level 30

finally done and traded in. got to level 30 and the hardcore achievement. hardcore turned out to be no big deal really. got to level 30 around 92 hours. did a 2 of the end game scenerios....neither one was worth a dam. i would say it was just about as bad as the finish to FO3....im glad this one is over

so, i dunno if anyone is playing this anymore or not but i have a question.

 

So, I decided to side with the NCR and Boone and I have been wrecking shit for the Legion the whole game, On a whim I decided to take the ferry over to the Fort and go Rambo on some post-apocalyptic roman wannabees. Boone says, in case you were wondering if we go over there, we may not come back or some shit like that. I whip out my silenced sniper rifle and proceed to annihilate the whole camp but cant find Caesar. I duck into the giant tent i forgot about and, lo and behold, there he is, sittin in his throne, Two headshots later, he's dead and I pop back out of the tent. His whole guard comes after me and I pick em off one by one, running and gunning with the riot shotty and 12.7mm smg. The dust settles, 20 billion stimpacks later, Im the last man standing...where the fuck did Boone go I havent seen him since I left the tent? I checked my perks, still have his perk, nothing came up saying he died. I tried doing shit for a few days in hopes he'd head back to the casino or novac to no avail. I cant use other companions since he's still technically following me. Where the fuck is he and how do I get him back? or send him to the casino or something? Anyone know?
