I'd save Fallout 3 for last. Because it's so much better/deeper.

thanks for the reminder, i had to format my laptop and forgot all about this game, but it needs to be finished. love the darker tone and fuller world. caesar's legion is one of the evillest enemy factions from any game ive ever played. I remember early-ish in the game when i was still deciding to be pro NCR or legion, and then i saw one of the legion guys getting interrogated, and when he described some of their activities... that was like the first time in any video game i was literally disgusted. i thought to myself "these motherfuckers gotta go."

Anyone know if it's possible to completely wipe out the Fiends or will they continue to pop up around the New Vegas area?Comment

Endings
If their leaders are destroyed by the Courier, the Fiends scatter throughout the wasteland. Without the organization of Motor-Runner, Cook-Cook, Violet, and Driver Nephi, they were easy prey.
If never weakened by NCR, the Fiends stage an attack against Camp McCarran during the second Battle of Hoover Dam. Though NCR repulse the Fiends, they both suffered heavy losses in the process.
If the NCR retreat, the Fiends stage an attack against Camp McCarran during the second Battle of Hoover Dam. The Fiends overwhelmed many of the troopers before Mr. House's Securitrons could deal with them.
If anarchy reigns after the second Battle of Hoover Dam, fiends overrun Camp McCarran and in the months that follow, the Fiends assert dominance over outer New Vegas.
If weakened, the Fiends attack McCarran during the second Battle of Hoover Dam. NCR repulse the attack with minimal losses and, in the following days, destroyed the remaining Fiend leaders, breaking their power forever.
If the Legion wins at the second Battle of Hoover Dam, Caesar, unimpressed with their performance and their dependence on chems, has the Fiends exterminated.
If Mr. House asserts control over Outer Vegas, and the Fiends are weakened, his Securitrons eradicate the remaining Fiends entirely.
If anarchy reigns after Hoover Dam and the Fiends are weakened, the Fiends attack Camp McCarran during the second Battle of Hoover Dam and, despite suffering heavy losses, overrun it. They continue to be a nuisance throughout Outer Vegas, but never establish full control over the area.
I have been meaning to play New Vegas again, although since I'm using a different account than my first time it will suck to have to get a bunch of achievements again, especially since I already got most of the endings.Comment

Thanks, but I mean if I run around and kill every Fiend around the Strip, will they continue to show up while I'm still playing?Comment

My guess would be that they would continue to spawn in certain areas like Super Mutants in FO3, but I'm not positive.Comment

I tried my hardest to not read anything in this thread since I don't want to spoil anything.
I will say after the first little hiccup I had with just dieing quickly I'm really enjoying this game. I also like how I'm not relying on VATS as much since it seems to be so uneffective its better to just shoot away on your own.
