I like the Uncharted commercial they've got running. It's funny because my girlfriend is the same way. I told her that Uncharted 2 was coming out. Her quote, "Is that the game that's like a movie?". She's as excited as I am.

Good news is, if I call ahead tomorrow and ask them to hold a copy for me, I may be able to grab the game after work.

Who knows when I'll be able to play it. I ordered from Amazon and they still haven't shipped it. Even though it obviously takes time to ship shit they still usually wait until the release day or most times a few days later to actually ship a game. And I go to Aruba for a week starting next Monday.

I might just get it at TRU and return the Amazon copy there for another game.

Mine was shipped today. I had it pre-ordered, and they shipped out today from New Castle, DE. I will have it tomorrow.

I pre-ordered Gears of War 2 through Amazon and was worried I wouldn't get it on release day just like you are... but it was in my mailbox on day 1.

I had a release day guarantee though - not sure they do that for all games but I thought they did.

They do that for all pre-ordered games. I have gotten every game from them in the last 2 years on release day.
