Possible spoilers for those who haven't finished it.

Yeah I liked the ending quite a bit. Sometimes I'm not sure what people are looking for. What would you have changed? He saved the world, escaped, nearly lost the woman he loved, didn't, and lived to fight another day. Would you rather he drink the sap and become some freak of nature or something?

My only confusion with the game (I can't call it a complaint because it really wasn't that big of a deal, it was so short), but as breesfan said, why would Naughty Dog make you repeat a tiny segment of climbing the train? I can't, for the life of me, come up with a decent reason. The only remotely logical one would be that they were afraid people might not realize that they were intersecting with the beginning at that point, but that just seems ludicrous. It's not like it's a 50 hour RPG and we played that spot 48 gameplay hours prior.

Like I said, can't call it a complain because it was what? 5 minutes worth of climbing before it jumped ahead? But still, I was just thinking: what happened here? Why am I doing this again?

yeah repeating the train part was silly but it was only like 3-5 mins of gameplay.

        Drake didn't die.

That's a plus considering the circumstances: facing down millions of heavily-armed goons, a tank, a military grade helicopter, roided up freaks, explosions, multiple near-fatal falls, a gunshot wound to the stomach (which kills most people), etc., etc.

The only bad side I see is that he didn't get more of that sweet, sweet Chloe.

The last few chapters were kind of weird with those blue things, sorta like the zombies in the first game. The final boss battle was too much running around. Can someone explain to me how blowing up the blue stuff hurt the guy (forgot his name.)

Basically the stuff Lazarevic (sp?) took attached him to the Tree of Life.

You destroy it, with the added bonus of it being an explosive, and it hurts him.

I haven't played this game in about a week now. I'm at the part where you fight Lezaravic around that "tree of life" and I don't want the game to be over with.

I can't keep putting off the inevitable, though.

                LOL.

My buddy who house sat for me played the game the entire week I was gone. He said his gf made him stop playing and spend time with her. I asked where he stopped and he said "when you're fighting that Russian dude with the fucked up face. Was I almost done?" I laughed and said, "Yeah, you didn't have too much further.":D

They could have done that without making us replay a part. They just made us replay that train sequence for people that play the game and put it down for extended periods of time, so a flash to Drake in the snow might confuse them. At least, that's what Naughty Dog said. I still think it's a little silly.

Quit bitchin man. You played it again yes, did I think it was annoying when it started, yes, but they only made you do only a fraction of the climbing and getting through the wreckage.

The difference the second time around was that you had to fight off the hordes of Roided up bady guys. I think it was pretty seamless, and brought you back to where you started, otherwise I would have been pretty annoyed if all of it was a dream/flashback sequence upto that point of the story.

Alright, first of all, don't call me out for bitching, as during WS time we should blindly be supporting each other in all of our endeavors.

Secondly, I really am not bitching. Like I said before, it didn't bother me, I just was confused by it. It was only like 2 minutes, I just don't see the logic behind it, especially since they only made you do a fraction of it. That's all.

Could they get away with making an Uncharted 3 just like the first 2?

it will get stale sooner or later....

Ratchet and Clank managed to do basically the same thing what? 7 times?

Still, I agree with you. However, this game isn't revolutionary in any facet, merely just does what others have done, and makes sure it does it well. The story and pacing is what had me. So if they can duplicate that, I imagine that it'll stay fresh for me.

i would think its going to be similar. if its not broke why fix it. just look at other successful games that have multiple titles, games like metal gear solid or halo. all of the games in the series are similar to each other but the developers are able to add new stuff and tweak the game to keep it fresh, and still fun to play. im sure ND can do the same. if you look at uncharted 2 its almost exactly like the original, outside of the addition of multiplayer, but they were able to take the weak points from the first game and polish the hell out of them and also add some new features.
