Williamson pushes his way into the end-zone near the end of the first quarter to go up 7 to 3.


Jackson hits a hole on his 103 yard kick return for touchdown at the end of the third quarter that cut the lead down to four.


Crawford forces the fumble in the fourth quarter that Monbouquette would recover. UVM couldn't capitalize though.


Williamson jumps over the pile for his second TD of the day, that would take the lead 30 to 24 in the fourth.


Fenton lays a big hit to jar the ball loose, with Vermont recovering. Again, they couldn't take advantage though late in the fourth.


Fenton giving his offense yet another chance to win the game with under two minutes left in the fourth, picking off a Washington pass.

We may have lost that game, and it sucked (Guidry sucked, more specifically), but Chris Fenton is going to be an absolute beast.


But also I have a question for you guys. Do you actually want me to do a legit recap for the National Championship game like I have been the last couple years, or can I just sim it and give you the basics so I can get move on into the off-season? An actual recap requires me watching the game, which is why I ask.

Damn, tough loss in the bowl game. Seemed like a fun one to play, but a good season overall. Looking forward to the offseason, and I agree, just sim the title game and give a brief wrapup.

Yeah it was definitely a really fun game. I just wish we could have converted those chances at the end there. But hey...

...I didn't expect it to be so close either, but my defense's weakness is really the pass, so maybe that was it.

2012 was fun, good rebuilding year. This 2017 class might have some studs in it with Williamson, Cole, and Fenton, something to look forward to.
