Butler, Griffin to start vs Jazz



Head Coach and General Manager Mike Dunleavy, has announced to the press that forwards Rasual Butler and Blake Griffin will make their first starts for the Clippers this season. Dunleavy has said that he would like Thornton to come off the bench the majority of the season, being the teams 6th man. Butler and Thornton will both get the same minutes they have been getting, Butler will strictly be used for defense and his outstanding ability to hit the three ball.

Griffin will make his first NBA start as Kaman will come off the bench. When told he would start, Griffin said, "Wow, just wow. It is a honor to start for this team. We have so much talent and I look forward at going head to head against [Carlos] Boozer." Kaman seems fine with coming off the bench. Dunleavy made it known that Marcus Camby and Kaman will now switch off between the starting and backup center.
