Ah that's true, you guys got Watson as well.

Fuck it, how tall is Head? 6'3 or something? Develop him into a combo guard and have him play the 2.

What happened to Jarrett Jack? Or are you referring to him as a 2?

      Jack is on Toronto Mike.

I think Luther will get around 13 minutes a game. He played well for us when he played.

Yeah he is at Toronto now .... we didn't have the money to keep McRobers , Diener and Jack so the Pacers (suprise suprise) decided to not match Jack and keep McRoberts and Deiner

We also have A.J Price but he isin't expected to play much at all

Are you trying to say Larry Bird is racist Mike???

I have never heard such filthy comments in all my life

Dunleavy and Hansbrough aren't going to make the season opener IRL they are saying so I am wondering if I should sit them until the projected time for their return in real life

            Opinion?

If you want to. Could be more fun for you and give you a chance to see what your bench is made of.

Ford settling in as O'Brien's quarterback

Point guards often are described as quarterbacks, so it's fitting Jim O'Brien turned to football when it came to the subject of T.J. Ford.

"We use the football analogy that certain quarterbacks, when thrown into the West Coast offense rather than a traditional offense, have to adapt," said O'Brien. "I would say that if you look at Danny Granger the first year he played in the passing game and the tempo we played, his growth between the first year and the second year has been well-documented.

"Danny learned how to score better, how to use the system for his betterment. I would say the same thing is going to happen with T.J."

It isn't that O'Brien expects Ford to start putting up unprecedented statistics; he essentially did that last season when he had the highest scoring average of his career and second-highest games, minutes, shooting percentage, 3-point percentage and rebounds.

It's more a matter of adjustment and comfort. Because of his speed and one-on-one skills, Ford has grown used to isolation plays that exploit his dazzling ballhandling. Though Ford was no worse than the second option in clutch-shot situations because of those skills, O'Brien's system requires the point guard to spend much of the game without the ball.

                      Interceptions more important than touchdowns
The routine goes something like this: get the ball upcourt as quickly as possible, initiate the offense with a pass, and then screen and cut to get open and increase your chances of getting the ball back.

"Just understanding the offense a lot better, as far as the scheme," said Ford. "Last year at times it looked great and at other times it didn't look so great for me as far as my performance.

"Just trying to be consistent. I've got a good feel for the guys, my teammates, now. Just try to do everything possible to get into the playoffs. That's the biggest thing for me. Don't want to miss it two years in a row so trying to do whatever it takes, offensively and defensively."

Last season was the first of his career in which Ford was healthy and his team failed to reach the playoffs. In three years with the Bucks, the only season they missed was 2004-05, which he missed after injuring his neck.

He moved on to Toronto in 2006-07 and the Raptors improved by 20 victories to 47-35 and reached the playoffs, returning in 2007-08. But last season with the Pacers was a different story.

The Pacers were 18-31 when Ford started, and he finished the season on the bench behind Jarrett Jack – who's now with the Raptors. The Pacers were 16-9 with Ford coming off the bench.

"I don't think the bench thing was a problem," Ford said. "As long as you're playing minutes, you can't complain and I wasn't complaining at all. I took the role and was pretty successful at it compared to when I came off the bench in Toronto.

"For me it was just about winning. Me and Jack didn't have a problem. They made it seem like we were at odds when we weren't. Whether I start or not, as long as I play the minutes I don't really care."

You will not find anyone faster from end to end in this game than T.J. Ford.

Dude will get your team out on the break so fast. Loved playing at home with Pacers last year and hearing the "vroom vroom" sounds in the arena. (Indy 500 cars)

His outside shooting wasn't all that good for me but he could get to the rim (and the FT line) pretty well for me despite his size. Solid passer as well.

I love me some T.J. Ford... if you use him right I expect to see him on the All-Star Team in no time.
