Pacers Opening Night Team



TJ Ford - 74 OVR

T.J Ford - Fast , smooth , good dribbling skills and clutch as hell . Ford along with Granger and Jack were the heart of this team last season night in night out . Despite having to fight off numerous injuries Ford showed the Indiana faithful what he can do with no less than SIX game winning shots in the regular season . Ford will start Opening night at point guard for the team ahead of Watson , Deiner and Head.



Dahntay Jones - 66 OVR

Dahntay Jones is the Pacers main free agent signing , coming in to replace Maquies Daniels who left for the greener sights of Boston . Jones comes to Indiana with a big rep of being one of the top on ball defenders in the NBA . He gets the start at SG against the Hawks on gameday one because of this defensive presence .



Danny Granger - 84 OVR

Danny Granger comes into this season as an ELITE Small Forward . Many people in the press have him only below the great LeBron James in terms of Small Forwards in the NBA .Granger who led the team in scoring last season and made his first all-star game signed a new contract extension in the off-season to make sure he stays a Pacer for alot more years . Whenever you see Danny Granger hit the court and perform you hear the sound of 16 general managers wishing they could turn back time and select him .



Troy Murphy - 74 OVR

Troy Murphy is the king of double doubles for the Pacers as he has excellent outside/midrange shooting to go along with great defensive rebounding skills . Murhpy unlike most PFs can hit the three better than most guards .... his outside touch is second to nobody apart from maybe Dirk Nowitzki . What else does he do you ask? Well nothing else really . Murphy is known for two things in Indiana , his 3 shooting and lack of D .



Roy Hibbert - 64 OVR

Roy Hibbert is probably the rawest player on the Pacers team . While he has the ability to grab boards and score at will he often ends up fouling out or turning the ball over on most offensive trips . There is no doubt that Hibbert has all the tools to do well in the NBA but if last season showed anything it is that he is very inconsistent . However , after a good summer league and training camp the Pacers are ready to throw him into the fire by starting him at center.
