I think it's too early in the season to pull off a trade like that. Even though the fruit of the trade is falling from the tree now. Good move but I would've liked to see a little patience, first.

I thought the best I will get is an 8th seed with this team and that will probably end up with me being smashed in the first round then non of my cap clears 2011

So I thought why not give up a good player to a team that is trying to contend for future peices

The right intentions were there ..... I think

And I think my record is flattering . The Jazz , Clippers and Kings are all poor teams

nice pickups y rebuild when ur have a decent record

Because I don't think the point is to be a 7th/8th seed for two-three more years

Now I have good peices for the future and good become a real good team with the right drills/development

I made my team WORSE for the present but better for the future

Pacers try and add some scoring by picking up Rashad McCants



-News broke out of Indiana today that the Pacers have picked up shooting guard Rashad McCants in free agency on a one year 1.2million dollar deal . McCants who is known for being a shooter who hates to pass will hopefully add some firepower from the bench for the Pacers

After being drafted out of UNC with the 14th overall pick in 2005 , McCants has never really lived up to his college rep . He has played for two teams since entering the league .

In todays press conference McCants spoke with an air of confidence when asked about his future with the team . "They want somebody who can shoot the rock .... I can do that . They want somebody who can score with EASE , I can do that" .... "yeah i'm pretty confident I will be starting in no time"

McCants is expected to get some minutes against the Wizards on Tuesday

I just played the Magic as well. VC didn't go off on me like that though rofl. I thought Dahntay Jones was a good defender.
