      Georgia Bulldogs Vs Florida Gators
      ---------------------------(7-0)==-------------------------(5-2)

Rece Davis: Last year Georgia lost to the Gators 49-10. It was one of the ugliest games in the series and left a sour taste in Georgia's mouth. The game was 14-3 at the half and Georgia was driving to score when Stafford threw an interception that was returned to the one yard line. The Dawgs collapsed after that and the game went South. This year's team is much better. Still Georgia rarely wins this game of late. Can they win this one?

Lee Corso: You better believe it! This team is great and will run all over the Gators. This Gators team isn't like last years and have already lost twice. They got destroyed by LSU and Georgia killed LSU so........

Kirk Herbstreit: I am going to have to use your quote on this one. Not so fast my friend! Florida is still very talented and they have one of the best run defenses in the nation. If you can stop King you can stop Georgia. They will do both in a victory!

                Georgia Wins In Jacksonville!

Branden Smith dives into the endzone after he returns a kickoff to the house.

How bout them Dawgs? They just whooped Florida in Jacksonville. The score doesn't reflect the game. The Dawgs dominated the ball in which the had the ball for 11 more minutes than Florida (17:32 to 6:51). They ran the ball for 119 yards and played turnover free.

They jumped out to a 21-0 lead halfway through the second quarter after Joe Cox hooked up with Aron White for a 28 yard pass. Florida scored just 28 seconds later on a 74 yard pass and then again with 24 seconds left in the half on a field goal. In a two minute span, Florida had gotten back into the game with a score of 21-10. That was until Freshman Sensation Branden Smith returned the kickoff 90 yards to the house as time expired. That was his third kick return for touchdown this season. Georgia went into the half up 28-10.

The third quarter is when Georgia ended the game by controlling the clock and holding Florida scoreless. Georgia hit a field goal with a minute left and then sent in the backups on defense. Against a prevent defense, Florida drove down for a touchdown with 43 seconds left to make the final score 31-17.

i hope man. Since I won and Kentucky lost I clinched the East so now it looks like it is going to be me and Bama in the Championship game which will be tough. If Bama loses in the Iron Bowl there will be a five way tie lmao

A QB who attempted 15 passes last year, a RB who ran the ball 61 Times, and a Sophomore WR who has to now be the leader of the offense???

You lost the first overall pick and best RB in the nation. On top of that florida did lose Harvin, but they return EVERYONE on defense, and the best player to Ever play college football. Now I don't want to get in a Debate about this because this is a chise thread but I'm thinking this game goes the way last years did. That is my opinion on it but, You never know what could happen. Awesome chise Been following this a lot. Gotta love SEC football. and I will be at the Georgia-SC game in athens ahaha.
yes we won't be better at the skill positions but we will be better at the lines. We return Trinton Sturdivant and Jeff Owens who both are all-american type players that missed all of last year. Last year we had so many injuries that we had no depth. We would be in games till the half and then lose it (LSU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Auburn). By the end of the year we had 5 defensive lineman and 4 linebackers on our roster. So we had 1 backup for both. By the Florida game, we had 26 season ending injuries.

And joe Cox is no slouch. He has always looked very good in games and was a five star quarterback. He came in at the end of the 2006 Colorado game and sparked a comeback. Here is his final drive

And we have many capable running backs and with our offensive line they should have big holes. Caleb King was one of the top running back recruits in the nation and has been wowing everybody this spring. This is his highlight tape

Keep in mind he got injured half way through the season so those highlights were from only 6 games. After him we have 5-star and 4-star recruits in Richard Samuel, Carlton Thomas, Dontavius Jackson, and Washaun Ealey.

Our defense last year was horrible but should be good this year. Last year we had so many injuries that the coaches didn't let players have contact in practice because they feared more players would get injured. Our tackling suffered and was horrendous by the end of the year. Most of our key guys on defense had injuries last year but are now healthy.

Also, thanks and I have been following yours too. I go to a couple South Carolina games every year (sister goes there)

But they need 2 people to fill in for Harvins rushing and they do in probably 2 of the (if not the) fastest players in the nation in Rainey and Demps.
i think they will be hurting harvin more than most people realize. They will definately be great but I think we have a chance to beat them. We made so many mistakes last year and it snowballed on us

                                Dawgs Clinch SEC East!

With Georgia's victory over Florida and Kentucky's loss to Mississippi State, Georgia has won the SEC Eastern Division and will represent the East in the SEC Championship Game at the Georgia Dome. As of right now, Georgia would play tenth ranked Alabama (7-1; 4-1).

This is the fifth time that the Dawgs have won or tied for first in the SEC East under Mark Richt. (2002,2003,2005,2007,2009).
