    Mark Richt Post-Game Press Conference

Reporter: Coming into this game did you think it was going to be this lopsided?

Mark Richt: I didn't really think so. They are very well coached and disciplined. I came in expecting to win but definately not like that.

Reporter: Are you and your team going to go celebrate tonight after that amazing victory?

Mark Richt: Not really. We still have a lot left and I always hang out with my family after a game. No matter the result.

Reporter: Your defense was amazing this game forcing turnovers and stopping the run, where would you rank them of all the defenses you've coached?

Mark Richt: It's up there. Coach Martinez has them working. They are definately up there with the 2002 and 2004 defenses.

Reporter: Your offense was solid and King ran the rock very well, do you think that he will be able to keep this up the rest of the way?

Mark Richt: I think so. Teams have been loading the box and they still can't stop him. Why would that change?

Reporter: You guys are in the thick of National Championship talks, do you think your guys are mentally ready for that?

Mark Richt: This team is very mentally tough. They have matured since last year on that. We will be ready.

Reporter: Word from rivals is that you guys received some commits following the Auburn game, were you guys surprised at all that you got them to commit?

Mark Richt: Actually very surprised. Most of them had Auburn as their number one but I guess they changed their minds at the game. It is always great to land a recruit.

Reporter: You guys arguably have the top recruiting class in the nation so far, how did you guys manage to pull that off?

Mark Richt: Coach Gardner is a recruiting genius. He figures out who he wants and then recruits the hell out of them. Plus, with our season, players want to be apart of this.

Eh I'm not so sure about that. But you're at least right that our D is best when we have a great pass rush - Pollack, Quintin Moses, Charles Johnson, Marcus Howard, Richard Seymour, etc. This year I'm still kinda worried, especially with Houston out the first two games. Next year and for the next several years our pass rush should be absolutely dominant though.

        5'11", 294 lbs

        (Best C in class)

The Georgia Bulldogs have recieved a committment from Clarence Brown. Brown is a five-star prospect and the best Center in the class.

        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        Beau Campbell-OT
        6'4", 283 lbs

        (Best OT in class)

Also, the Dawgs recieved a committment from Beau Campbell, the best tackle in the class. He is going to be an anchor for the Dawg's line for many years. The Dawgs now have the #1 center, #2 guard, and #1 tackle.

        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        Cole Green-CB
        6'0", 178 lbs

        (3rd Best CB in class)

Cole Green also committed to the Dawgs. He is a five-star player and a very balanced safety. He could be the nickel corner next year.

        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        Wallace Tyler-ATH
        5'10", 194 lbs

        (2nd Best ATH in class)

The final committ of the day is five-star athlete Wallace Tyler. Tyler could play wide reciever or corner for the Dawgs. He is very fast and can catch the ball. Expect big things from him.

I think with Atkins and Owens demanding double teams from the inside our ends get pressure. This means we won't have to blitz like last year. Blitzing would work but CWM has no fucking clue on how to blitz. We can play his soft little cover 2. I think our defense will be back to normal (pre 2008) and much like the Bowl game.

That Sugar Bowl was the most fun I've ever had watching a UGA game, except for maybe the Hob-Nailed boot play in '01 or the Auburn blackout game. It wasn't fair.

And nash, good to see you building that O-Line and secondary. The O-Line is already set for the next 2years with the guys you have in Athens, but with the dudes you're adding...bah gawd. Some good-looking corners and athletes, too.

it was awesome but doesn't come close to the 2001 Tennessee, 2002 Georgia Tech, 2005 LSU, or the black-out game.

And yeah, I am pretty sure some of my linemen will leave early so I am stockpiling :D

Nice dynasty you got going on here..and it's awesome to build a dominate offensive line, they are who set the tone for your offense..if you have a crappy line then you will really struggle. Keep up the good work man.

back before we played Knowshon and our offense and defensive line gelled. We were ranked 3rd, the number one and two teams lost (I think it was Missouri and West Virginia) and we didn't play. We should move up to #1 but LSU moved from #7 to #2 and Ohio State went from #5 to #1. We moved down from #3 to #5. How the fuck does that happen??? there is no rule that you have to win the conference. Tennessee won the tie breaker cuz Kentucky fuckin sucked and Tennessee blocked their field goal in overtime. We had a better resume than LSU did that year.

Rece Davis: Georgia is one game away from going undefeated in the SEC. They play Kentucky at home in Athens, Georgia. Will they remain undefeated?

Lee Corso: You better believe it! There is no way this Bulldog team will lose to this pitiful Wildcat team. It just won't happen. No way, no how. Georgia hasn't really been tested since Arkansas in week three. They have rolled through theri schedule and will do the same to Kentucky. How 'bout them Dawgs? G.A.T.A!!!!

Kirk Herbstreit: Hold on there Lee. I have a feeling about this game. Georgia has to be mentally exhausted going undefeated so far. The pressure is too much and they will succomb to it. They lose in a close, shootout type of game!

                                Dawgs Win On Senior Night!

Michael Moore's play will definately be on Sportcenter's top ten plays.

The game wasn't pretty but the final score is all that matters. Just win and keep going to the next week. Kentucky went up early 3-0 but couldn't mount a bigger lead as they missed a field goal and drove down the field late in the first quarter to throw a interception at the goal line. You can't make mistakes like that against a great team like Georgia. Georgia came back in the second to score two touchdowns in the second quarter to go into half time up 14-3. Kentucky wasn't done though as they shut down the Dawgs in the third and scored a field goal for themselves to make it 14-6 going into the final period. This is when Caleb took over scoring two touchdowns early on to take the lead 28-6. And then the game got ugly..... Kentucky drove down and scored a touchdown. Then they converted the two point conversion to make it 28-14. They did an onside kick that Michael Moore took to the house. 35-14. Kentucky wasn't done though as they drove down once more to score. The score was now 35-21 but the Wildcats were out of time.
