Eagles Face Tough Division Matchup
Eagles Face Tough Division Matchup
Both Clinton Portis and Jason Campbell have looked good this season.
The 4-1 Philadelphia Eagles, riding on a four game win streak, will be traveling to the FedEx Forum to face off against the division rival Washington Redskins, who stand at 4-2.
The Redskins have multiple weapons on offense, including their star running back Clinton Portis, wide receiver Santana Moss, tight end Chris Cooley, and quarterback Jason Campbell. However Campbell has been known to make bad decisions and the Eagles lead the entire NFL in interceptions.
If the Eagles' defense continues to play well the Redskins should be containable. Philadelphia should come away with a win this week.Comment

McNabbb Shines; Eagles Defeat the 'Skins
McNabb Shines; Eagles Defeat the 'Skins
(4-1) - 24 @ 14 - (4-2)
Recap:
Donovan McNabb was absolutely spectacular tonight, throwing 26-32 for 250 yards and two touchdowns. The Redskins didn't have an answer for McNabb's aerial attack, which opened up the run game for the Eagles too. Philadelphia's defense also forced two turnovers, with interceptions by cornerback Asante Samuel and linebacker Akeem Jordan. The defense was also able to limit Washington's star running back Clinton Portis to just 32 yards on ten carries. The Eagles played well all around and earned bragging rights by defeating their rivals. This victory will make it five straight for Philadelphia. They will look to extend the streak to six next week against the New York Giants.

Michael Vick will see action against the New York Giants.
Quarterback Michael Vick has been named eligible to play for the remainder of the season after completing his six game suspension.
Vick will take Kevin Kolb's spot as the second-string quarterback behind Donovan McNabb, who has looked good this season, throwing for 1,501 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The addition of Vick has resulted into the release of quarterback A.J. Feeley from the Eagles' squad.

Eagles Return Home to Play Giants
Eagles Return Home to Play Giants
Ahmad Bradshaw bolsters the Giants' running game.
The 5-1 Philadelphia Eagles will be returning home to Lincoln Financial Field to face off against the 4-3 New York Giants. This rivalry will have a fresh new face participating in it, with quarterback Michael Vick playing this weekend for the Eagles.
Giants' quarterback Eli Manning has looked good so far this year, as has running back Brandon Jacobs. The Eagles' defense will really need to step up to contain New York's balanced offense.
Although the Giants are standing at 4-3 this year, they should still be considered one of the best teams in the league. The Eagles know that New York is a force to be reckoned with, so they had better bring their A-game.Comment

Eagles Will Look to Redeem Themselves Against Cowboys
Eagles Will Look to Redeem Themselves Against Cowboys
DeMarcus Ware is one of the league’s elite pass rushers.
The 5-2 Philadelphia Eagles, coming off of a loss to the New York Giants, will be staying home to face another division rival, the 4-3 Dallas Cowboys.
Jon Kitna will be taking snaps under center for the Cowboys, as Tony Romo is still recovering from his broken collarbone. Kitna has yet to throw an interception since taking Romo’s place, and he will look to stay perfect this week in Philadelphia.
If the Eagles can get their offense moving the ball up the field while keeping Dallas running back Marion Barber in check, then they should be able to come out with a win over the Cowboys.Comment

Recap:

Rookie receiver Jeremy Maclin had another big day receiving, catching six passes for 75 yards. The Eagles were able to hold on to their tight lead until the game concluded, securing a victory.

Eagles Face Matchup with Talented Chargers
Eagles Face Matchup with Talented Chargers
LaDainian Tomlinson is arguably the most respected running back in the league.
The 5-2 Philadelphia Eagles will be traveling to San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium to square off against the Chargers, who are also 5-2.
Philip Rivers and LaDainian Tomlinson make San Diego's offense one of the most feared in the league. However, the Eagles defense has been one of the top in the NFL, so they may be able to contain San Diego's firepower.
If Eagles' running back Brian Westbrook can find running room in the Chargers' excellent run defense, the Eagles will have a much better chance of succeeding than they would if San Diego shuts Westbrook down.Comment
