Broncos' Dawkins to Make Emotional Return to Philadelphia
Broncos' Dawkins to Make Emotional Return to Philadelphia
Brian Dawkins will be returning to Philadelphia for the first time this season.
Long time Eagles safety Brian Dawkins will be returning to Philadelphia for the first time since leaving the team for Denver during the off-season. Dawkins was the heart and soul of the Eagles defense for years, and the Philadelphia fans will be excited to give him a warm welcome on his emotional day.
Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton doesn't bring much to the table skill wise and the Eagles defense will try to exploit his weaknesses. Denver's rookie running back Knowshon Moreno hasn't shown much this season either, so the Broncos' offense will need someone to step up.
The Eagles should be able to top the Denver squad with ease.Comment

Eagles Slide Past Broncos
Eagles Slide Past Broncos
(5-9) - 20 @ 27 - (10-4)
Recap:
Brian Dawkins made his return to Philadelphia, and started the game by intercepting his former quarterback Donovan McNabb. McNabb threw two picks on the day along with two touchdowns.
Kyle Orton had the Broncos primed for a fourth quarter run until he was intercepted by Asante Samuel. Orton played well, throwing for over 270 yards and finding a player in the endzone twice.
Philadelphia's run game dwarfed that of the Broncos'. The Eagles had 119 yards on the ground, the Broncos, just 51. That proved to be the difference maker as the Birds won by only a touchdown.

11-4 Eagles Look to Clinch Division Title
11-4 Eagles Look to Clinch Division Title
Tony Romo and Donovan McNabb will be matching up for the first time this season.
The 11-4 Philadelphia Eagles would've liked to be able to sit their starters for this game, but with the 10-5 New York Giants right on their tail in the division race the Eagles will need to win.
Philly will be looking for an early blowout win to give their starters as much rest as possible. However Tony Romo has returned for Dallas, and that could be a big difference maker for the 7-8 Cowboys.
Rainy conditions will also be a factor in Philadelphia's favor, as the Cowboys aren't accustomed to playing in conditions like that.Comment

Eagles Clinch the Conference Title With Victory
Eagles Clinch the Conference Title With Victory
(11-4) - 14 @ 3 - (7-8)
Recap:
The Eagles defense had trouble containing Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, but they made all the necessary stops in the redzone, not allowing Dallas to score any touchdowns.
Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb looked a little shaky, and that's not what anyone wanted to see from him during the game right before the playoffs. Reggie Brown did another spectacular job at receiver while DeSean Jackson was still hurt, and he scored on McNabb's only touchdown pass.
The Green Bay Packers fell to the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 5-24, meaning that the Eagles clinched the conference title by winning in Dallas. Philadelphia will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
