Texans Shock Eagles Behind Schaub and Slaton

Texans Schock Eagles Behind Schaub and Slaton

      (1-2) - 31 @ 24 - (3-1)

      Recap:

The Houston Texans have been riding on Matt Schaub's hot hand and continued to do so when they traveled to Pennsylvania to face off against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles.

Schaub threw for 279 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and had 100 rushing yards from Steve Slaton to compliment Houston's passing game. The Eagles had no way to slow the Texans down, and Houston's defense was able to force Donovan McNabb to throw two interceptions as well.

The Eagles weren't prepared for the firepower that the Texans provided, and they will have a rematch of the NFC Championship game last season when the Birds head up to Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers.

Eagles Travel to Wisconsin for NFC Championship Rematch

Eagles Travel to Wisconsin for NFC Championship Rematch[

Ryan Grant is one of the most dangerous running backs in the league.

The 2-3 Green Bay Packers will be hosting the 3-1 Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game.

The Eagles are coming off of a deflating loss to the Houston Texans. Running backs Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy will need to step it up if the Birds want to scrape out a win this week, because Donovan McNabb has been carrying the load thus far.

The Packers have had a balanced offensive attack so far this year, with Aaron Rodgers passing well and Ryan Grant finding good yardage on the ground.

Despite Philadelphia having a better record, this game will most likely end up being very close. It should be a good one at Lambeau.

Packers Can't Find the Endzone; Eagles Squeak Past Green Bay

Packers Can't Find the Endzone; Eagles Squeak Past Green Bay

                  (3-1) - 17 @ 15 - (2-3)

                  :

                  Recap:

The 3-1 Philadelphia Eagles, coming off of a crushing loss to the Houston Texans, traveled west to Green Bay to face off against the 2-3 Packers.

Donovan McNabb played well for the Eagles once again, despite throwing an interception. However, the game's star was wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Jackson caught six passes for 179 yards and also found the endzone.

The Packers were able to force three turnovers off of careless play by Philadelphia, but their offense was unable to produce any touchdowns. The Eagles depart from Wisconsin with a 4-1 record, and they will travel south to Dallas to face the 1-4 division rival Cowboys.

Eagles Prepare for a Dallas Rematch

Eagles Prepare for a Dallas Rematch

Felix Jones is an explosive threat for Dallas..

The 1-4 Dallas Cowboys will be hosting the Philadelphia Eagles, who stand at 4-1.

The Eagles have been unable to develop a consistent running attack so far this year, with Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy both struggling. Quarterback Donovan McNabb has carried the team thus far.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, have struggled at everything so far. Their record has been very disappointing and an inconsistent Tony Romo hasn't helped anything.

The bottom line is that the Birds should be able to defeat the 'Boys with ease.

Folk's Field Goal Buries the Eagles

                        (4-1) - 17 @ 20 - (1-4)

                        Recap:

The 4-1 Philadelphia Eagles traveled southwest to Dallas to face off against the division rival 1-4 Cowboys.

Philadelphia's run game struggled once again, this time the blame being thrown at the offensive line. The line couldn't contain Dallas' blitz schemes, as the Cowboys were getting to the quarterback and the running back in the backfield countless times.

The game was tight the whole way through, until Cowboys' kicker Nick Folk buried a 47-yarder to put Dallas up by three with just 30 seconds remaining. The Eagles were unable to get anything going on their next drive, therefore falling to the 1-4 Cowboys.

                        Statistics:

                        Passing:
                        Donovan McNabb- 18-32, 192 yds, 2 TD
                        Tony Romo- 19-25, 240 yds, 2 TD

                              4-2 Eagles Host 3-3 Giants

                              4-2 Eagles Host 3-3 Giants

Eli Manning has played well so far this year.

The 3-3 New York Giants will be playing the 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles without their starting running back, Brandon Jacobs.

Jacobs is out for the season with a compound stress fracture. Taking his place will be backup Ahmad Bradshaw. Bradshaw is a solid running back, but he's always struggled against Philadelphia's defense.

The Eagles are coming off of a heartbreaking loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and they will need a strong run attack to come out of this one with a win.
