Vinatieri's Field Goal Lifts Colts Past Eagles
Vinatieri's Field Goal Lifts Colts Past Eagles
(5-6) - 23 @ 21 - (9-2)
Recap:
In a rematch of Super Bowl XLIV, the 5-6 Indianapolis Colts faced off against the 9-2 Philadelphia Eagles. This matchup proved to be just as exciting as the last time these teams squared off.
Both Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb played well for their teams. Manning connected with second-year receiver Austin Collie fourteen times for a total of 136 yards in a career-game for Collie.
The Eagles led the game throughout, but a fourth quarter drive by Manning and the Colts set up a 40-yard Adam Vinatieri field goal at the end of the game to win the game for Indianapolis. The Colts advanced to a .500 6-6 record while the Eagles fell to 9-3 on the year.

Another Week, Another Manning
Another Week, Another Manning
Eli Manning has been unable to lead New York to victory without Jacobs.
After a deflating loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the 9-3 Philadelphia Eagles traveled north to New Jersey to face off against the 4-8 division rival New York Giants.
The Giants have been unable to get any offensive production with running back Brandon Jacobs out for the season. With a lackluster receiving corps., the Giants offense has lagged. The ferocious Eagles defense should shut New York down.
Despite losing to a below .500 team last week, that was most likely a fluke for Philadelphia. The Birds should be able to take down the Giants and advance to 10-3.Comment

Recap:
The 9-3 Philadelphia Eagles, visiting the 4-8 division rival New York Giants, got off to a shakey start when quarterback Donovan McNabb's pass was intercepted and taken back for a touchdown by cornerback DeAndre Wright.

Philadelphia will stay on the road when they head out to LP Field in Nashville next Sunday to face off against the 8-5 Tennessee Titans, who are on a two-game winning streak.

Titans Could Prove to be True Test for Eagles
Titans Could Prove to be True Test for Eagles
Chris Johnson is one of the league's young and talented running backs.
The 8-5 Tennessee Titans will be hosting the 10-3 Philadelphia Eagles at LP Field in Nashville.
The Eagles are coming off of a big win against the division rival New York Giants, but the Titans' strong defense and high powered offense is strong enough to surprise the Birds.
Kerry Collins is still taking snaps for Tennessee, and running backs Chris Johnson and LenDale White are both touchdown scorers. If the Titans get rolling early, Philadelphia could be in for a tough one.Comment

Starters Rest as Eagles Blow Titans Out
Starters Rest as Eagles Blow Titans Out
(10-3) - 38 @ 20 - (8-5)
Recap:
The 8-5 Tennessee Titans hosted the 10-3 Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles' offense got going early and took a commanding lead, 28-10 going in to the half.
In the second half, Philadelphia's backups took over. Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, Hank Baskett, and Macho Harris impressed, all putting up good numbers.
The key to Philadelphia's victory was Tennessee's run game. Chris Johnson was held to just 38 yards on 19 attempts, and Kerry Collins' pass game wasn't superb either.
The Eagles will take their 11-3 record in to Louisiana next weekend to face off against the 4-10 New Orleans Saints.
