11-3 Eagles Visit the Superdome
11-3 Eagles Visit the Superdome
Reggie Bush is a threat in a number of ways.
The 4-10 New Orleans Saints will be hosting the 11-3 Philadelphia Eagles in the Louisiana Superdome.
The Eagles are rolling, coming off of two straight wins against the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans. The Saints have a high-powered offense but a weaker defense that Philadelphia should be able to take advantage of.
Drew Brees will need to play almost perfectly if he wants his Saints to come away with a win.Comment

Eagles' Samuel Plays Great at Eagles Clinch Division
Eagles' Samuel Plays Great at Eagles Clinch Division
(11-3) - 35 @ 28 - (4-10)
Recap:
The 11-3 Philadelphia Eagles visited the 4-10 New Orleans Saints in the Louisiana Superdome.
Eagles' cornerback Asante Samuel stepped up huge for Philadelphia, intercepting two passes and taking them both back for touchdowns. The Eagles' offense had a nice rhythm to it as well, despite subbing in reserves on and off throughout to avoid injury.
The Saints lacked a running game of any sort, with Pierre Thomas only finding 23 yards on five attempts, and Drew Brees threw three costly interceptions. The game would've been much closer had New Orleans protected the ball.
After clinching the division, the 12-3 Philadelphia Eagles will return home to host the 6-9 Chicago Bears, whose playoff hopes are lost. Reserves will most likely star in this game for both teams.

Philly's Second Team to Take on Bears
Philly's Second Team to Take on Bears
Devin Hester and Matt Forte are two of the league's best playmakers.
Philadelphia Eagles' head coach Andy Reid has already stated that his starters will not be starting against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.
"They will be playing, but rotated in to the game in shifts instead of playing throughout," said Reid. "It's not worth risking the injury."
This means that Michael Vick will be making his first start at quarterback since joining the Philadelphia Eagles, and he will be up against a tough Bears defense.
The Bears have had a sub-par year with a 6-9 record, and they will look to take some frustration out on the second-string Eagles squad.Comment

Philadelphia's Second Team Edges Out Chicago
Philadelphia's Second Team Edges Out Chicago
(6-9) - 20 @ 28 - (12-3)
Recap:
The 12-3 Philadelphia Eagles decided to sit their starters in their week 17 matchup against the 6-9 Chicago Bears.
The starters resting had no effect on the Eagles squad, as the offense still had a consistent rhythym, while the defense held the Bears to 20 points.
The Eagles took the game by eight points, and they will have a bye in the wildcard round of the NFL playoffs for the second season in a row.
