I didn't know who to root for. I'm an SC fan, but I wanted to see Florida get upset.

Ya, except SC's injuries weren't even big. You said they lost Corp and like Johnson, right? That means they'd still have Gable, McKnight, McNeal, and Bradford at tailback. They'd still have Barkley and Mustain at QB.
Who else did they lose?
Incidentally, your championship game is what that one former ND coach 'predicted' on ESPN a while back. (Y'know, the funny old guy whose name I feel stupid for not remembering.) He was only half-serious.
EDIT: Lou Holtz. . . is that it?
Thanks a lot man. Glad you like it.

Coaching Carousel
Joe Paterno Retires, Brian Kelly Hired
Legendary Penn State head coach Joe Paterno has decided to retire after winning the Rose Bowl. Paterno leaves the game on a high note. The university decided to hire Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly who led the Bearcats to an 11-2 record and nearly won the Sugar Bowl in a memorable shootout. Kelly has built Cincinnati into a Big East power to be reckoned with. He will bring his high scoring offense and aggressive defense to Happy Valley. "It is a real honor to follow in the footsteps of a legend and I can only hope to add to the legacy of Penn State football," Kelly said.
Bobby Bowden Retires, Chris Peterson Hired
After a 5-7 season for Florida State, legendary head coach Bobby Bowden also decided to retire. But what came as a surprise was that the university decided to also part ways with offensive coordinator and the coach in waiting, Jimbo Fisher as the offense has not looked too spectacular in recent years. The media speculated for a few weeks as to who FSU wanted. Florida State decided on Boise State head coach Chris Peterson who has built a WAC program into a perennial BCS buster. It was thought that Peterson was happy to stay put in Boise but Florida State offered him a contract that he could not refuse. "I have really enjoyed my time here in Boise and I think I am leaving them in good condition to conitnue success," said Peterson. "I look forward to the new challenge that awaits me in Tallahasse. We're going to get Florida State back to where it was in its prime.Comment
