Thank you. Yes, you do. You can take up to ten pics for each game. Then you have to upload them to easportsworld. You can only have up to three pics on the website at a time so I have to be patient and upload them three at a time. Then it is just a matter of downloading those pics to my cpu and then to a website such as photobucket. Though if you have the proper equiment, you can take your own pics, but I don't have the technical knowledge of how to do that. Hope that helps.

Mike: I'll say Erin. We knew that this game was going to be like this. Boise State always plays hard especially in their home stadium.

Erin: Injuries played a large role for both teams today. But you had Ryan McCants step up in a big way when Quizz went down just as he did in the Civil War last year. What are your thoughts on the way he played?

Mike: I really liked the way he stepped up for our team. He really ran hard and I'm just really proud of him.

Erin: Coming into the game, a lot of people questioned whether a redshirt sophomore QB Ryan Katz could win in this environment. Pretty good game from him wouldn't you say?

Mike: Oh, absolutely Erin. He really executed well and that was his first career start. He did miss some opportunities but I really liked the way he ran the offense. And most importantly, no turnovers. I'm really proud of him, that's for sure.

Erin: At the end there when you guys were backed up at your own 5-yard line, can you take us through what the strategy was?

Mike: Oh yeah. We were really thinking of just taking it to OT but when McCants busted that 1st down run, I decided we'd try and go for the win. Katz really made some clutch passes and James made probably one of the best catches of his illustrious career for the Beavers. I'm just really proud how our team stuck with it and beat a really good team in this environment. Big, big win for the Beavers.

I can't really think of any good reason why somebody in the conferences or the NCAA couldn't just change the home/away schedules besides for budget cuts or laziness.

Chris: Welcome to Tuscaloosa for a clash between the Big Ten and the SEC. Well, I don't think I can ever remember an opening weekend where three top ten teams lost to unranked opponents, but that is exactly what happened last week as Notre Dame fell to Purdue; USC fell to Hawai'i, and the most astonishing one of all, Ohio State fell to Marshall. So Penn State will try to regain respect for the Big Ten today with a win on the road in SEC country. But to do so, they will have to beat Nick Saban's Crimson Tide. Pretty tall order for Brian Kelly's debut as Penn State's new head coach.

Kirk: I'm really anxious to see what Brian Kelly's offense looks like today. A lot of people question whether sophomore QB Kevin Newsome will be the right fit , but Kelly's system allows the QB to succeed. And Newsome has a talented cast of receivers to throw to. I think the Nittany Lions are going to have one of the more exciting offenses in college football with Kelly running the show. And I know. They're going up against the athletes of the Tide today, but I say Penn State wins and restores the pride of the Big Ten. *crowd boos*


Lee: Kirk, not so fast my friend! *crowd cheers* This Alabama team is built to take PSU out of its game with long, methodical drives as Bama HB Mark Ingram pounds the rock all game long. And that defense led by MLB Rolando McClain and a tremendous secondary is going to make it tough for the Nittany Lions to execute offensively. Oh, and don't forget about QB Greg McElroy throwing to WR Julio Jones. Somebody needs to tell me why these guys aren't ranked. I can't believe these guys aren't ranked. Corvallis, OR - After a suspenseful win against Boise State the Beavers cracked the top ten and faced the Eagles of Eastern Washington for what amounted to a scrimmage game. Oregon State dominated the game in every facet. But the Beavers were not able to get out unscathed as their dynamic tailback Jacquizz Rodgers on his sixth carry of the game was sandwiched between two Eagle defenders. Quizz would leave the game with a back injury that prevented him from playing the rest of the game. So in came Ryan McCants to replace Quizz for the second game in a row. The Beavers did not miss a beat as McCants had a career game. The bruising tailback ran wild for a total of 213 yards and found the end zone four times to be named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week. Redshirt sophomore QB Ryan Katz was solid, connecting with James Rodgers for a touchdown, and scoring on a QB sneak. The older of the Rodgers brothers caught eight receptions for 164 yards and the one touchdown pass from Katz. The OSU defense played like it should against inferior competition only allowing the Eagles to score a single touchdown as the Beavs cruised to an easy 45-7 victory.

Tuscaloosa, AL - After Ohio State lost to Marshall the previous week, it was up to Penn State to represent the Big Ten. But new PSU head coach Brian Kelly faced a daunting task to try and get a win against Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa. Alabama took an early 7-0 lead when QB Greg McElroy connected with WR Julio Jones who tightroped the sideline and scored on a 32-yard touchdown. Then PSU QB Kevin Newsome's favorite target WR Chaz Powell was sidelined with what appeared to be a collar bone injury. It was later reported that it was a season ending broken collar bone. However, Newsome would connect deep with WR Derek Moye for a 32 yard gain that would set up a 32-yard FG to put PSU on the scoreboard but down 7-3.

The Crimson Tide would tack on a 26-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter to go ahead 10-3. On the ensuing possession, the Nittany Lions were forced to punt but the ball would be downed at the the 1-yard line. Penn State brought pressure from the outside with a CB blitz and CB Danton Lynn was able to take down McElroy in the end zone for a safety to make it 10-5. PSU QB Kevin Newsome quickly took advantage of the field position from the safety and gunned a ball right on the money to 6'6" WR Brett Brackett who beat the bump-and-run coverage for a 58-yard TD to put Penn State on top 12-10.

Bama would have a drive stall in the red zone to open the 2nd half but would connect on a 30-yard field goal to regain the lead 13-12. But Penn State countered back by running the ball with HB Stephfon Green who was having success on the ground. And Newsome was able to make a couple clutch passes. But the drive would stall in Bama territory to set up a 38-yard field goal attempt. Unfortunately, senior Collin Wagner shanked it wide right. From that moment, all the momentum swung toward the Tide. On 3rd-and-two in PSU territory, McElroy was able to hit WR Julio Jones over the middle between two defenders. Jones made a great leaping catch and payed for it by being crunched by two sandwiching hits but held on to the ball to keep the drive alive. Bama HB Mark Ingram pounded the ball on the ground and McElroy would score on a sneak at the goal line. However, the extra point was clanked off the upright, but Alabama was still up 19-12.

Alabama's running game was shoved right down Penn State's throat in the 4th quarter. And then McElroy hit Jones in the corner of the end zone for a 25-yard TD to put the Tide up 26-12. Penn State would be held on 4th down on their own side of the field to pretty much end any chance of coming back. However, with 1:42 left in the game PSU did get the ball back one more time but Newsome was sacked by Bama MLB Rolando McClain who forced the ball loose and then recovered the football. That pretty much did it as Nick Saban spoiled Brian Kelly's debut as Penn State's head coach.

Quizz Out Up to 10 Weeks


OSU HB Jacquizz Rodgers

That is the news out of Corvallis. Oregon State will be without their dynamic tailback, Jacquizz Rodgers for up to ten weeks who has a strained back. That will suddenly leave redshirt junior HB Ryan McCants to carry the load for the Beavers. McCants has filled in tremendously so far for Oregon State. After his 213 yard, four touchdown performance against Eastern Washington, McCants has gained some national attention. But make no mistake. Losing Quizz is a huge blow to Oregon State. Not only will McCants have to step up, but this will put added pressure on redshirt sophomore QB Ryan Katz to make plays through the air. Older brother of Quizz, James Rodgers will likely need to become a larger factor. The Beavers first test without Quizz starting will be against Louisville this weekend at Reser.

And I'm giving a helmet sticker to Oregon State tailback Ryan McCants. So Jacquizz Rodgers goes down but never fear because Ryan McCants is here to rumble for 213 yards and four touchdowns. I know it was against Eastern Washington but over 200 yards and four touchdowns is a huge game no matter who is playing.
