McGrady Seperates Shoulder, Rockets Stumble on the Road
Before seperating his shoulder, McGrady played like an all-star. Here, he lays in an acrobatic shot with an and one opportunity.
Player of the Game:
LaMarcus Aldridge
Quote of the Night:
"I really don't know what to say right now. We've got a game tomorrow against the clippers and Tracy is on his way back to Houston for an MRI on his shoulder. Battier will start tomorrow night and Von Wafer will play the back up role. We've got a lot of sole searching to do and if we want a chance to get ahead early in the conference, we need to do it quickly." - Coach Rick Adelman

Diagnosis: McGrady out 1-2 Weeks
Tracy McGrady will not suit of for the next few games rehabbing a separated shoulder he suffered in the 3rd quarter of a blow out loss against the Portland Trailblazers last night. McGrady will head back to Houston tonight to have an MRI done to see if anything else will effect his return. The Rockets will not return to Houston until the 15th against the Hornets.
McGrady is expected to be back on November 24th when the Rockets travel to Miami to face Dwyane Wade and the Heat. Shane Battier will fill the role of shooting guard until his return. McGrady is among the lead leaders in points per game scoring just over 24 points a night. Houston will need to play well in McGrady's absence if they want to contend in the western conference this year.Last edited by Primetime; 02-22-2009, 01:42 AM.Comment

Houston Rockets (4-2) @ (0-6) Los Angeles Clippers
Brooks, Yao Flourish in McGrady's Absence, Top Clippers
Brooks lines up from deep and nails one of his five three-pointers on the night. He would make the first five three's he took.
Player of the Game:
Yao Ming
Quote of the Night:
"I just went out there and did my best. Tonight, I did what I had to do to help the team. My teammates found me all game and I was able to get separation from the defender. Hopefully we continue to play like this and get even better once Tracy's back." - Aaron Brooks
