Report: Boozer to Test Free Agent Market



Carlos Boozer met with Jazz owner Larry Miller, general manager Kevin O'Connor, and coach Jerry Sloan today to talk about a possible contract extension. Coming in, the Jazz front office thought that would be able to lure Boozer into coming back for cheaper than he wanted because he would be able to work with guys like Deron Williams and up and comer Ronnie Brewer. Carlos had other intentions.

In a conversation of Boozers contract thoughts, he explained he was not unhappy with Utah but said, "I'm going to test my value in the free agent market this coming offseason; make your plans accordingly." Turns out Utah thought wrong. It may not be the best time for Boozer to test the free agent market due to the economy and teams holding their salary cap room for the 2010 offseason but Carlos should get some well deserved bank.

Possible teams that could look to add Boozer could be the Thunder, Kings, Pistons, and Raptors. Where do you think would be the best place for a guy like Boozer, who will pursue him the most, and/or will he just re-sign with the Jazz after free agency?

I know what you mean about the slash but I don't know how to get rid of it. I tried to make it play at 10% of the normal speed until the slash was gone and it worked perfect in 2K9 and the highlight looked great. Now it looks like shit.

By the way, the first three he hits there is a buzzer beater at the end of the third.
