Well that was certainly interesting. Wonder where they are gunna take this next season..

I believe they have a couple more seasons under contract with Dexter so Deb will certainly go along with this in some way. I just can't wait to see how she copes with her brother being who he is and how much she'll find out. Will she know about Harry teaching Dex all this among other things. Just sucks Dexter starts every fall so now I have to wait.

I pretty much knew that Deb was going to walk in on him in the act, but still, that was awesome. My first thoughts when I saw Deb walk in was just "FINALLY!"

Every season has basically been Deb/someone in Homicide almost finding out about Dexter, and then at the last second he gets away. I'm so happy to see that someone actually knows about his secret now. The show can go in so many directions now.

I do have to say, I'm really glad the DDK stuff is over with. The kills were interesting, but I just never found the main baddies to be all that exciting.

And back when I wanted Deb to find out about Dexter, I was HOPING it could happen in an interesting way. Not as a side story of Taboo: American Style.

I really wish the would've went more into Travis' split personality because that would have been interesting, instead once they had the Gellar reveal he was psycho-Travis the rest of the season. Also it irked me that the ONE time that homicide waits outside the scene for Dex is when his face was on the tableau, every other time they go in and give him a run down when he shows up.

...My thoughts on Season 6...DoomsDay Killer was a great central plot, albeit, lazily written...I think what hurts this season is that its season 6 and I am just sick and tired of most of the central characters...all of their off-central plots are worthless, poorly written, and lack any fuck to be given. Their main non-Dex story was Deb being "in love" with her half-brother. Must have some full fledged incest mook writing the show now...what an awful subplot. During a re-evaluation, I might actually rank this season above 3...I just thought 3 and 5 were such shit with such shit plot...this one at least had a very interesting central plot with DDK...but what hurts it is that I'm just sick and tired of the central characters, and wasn't sick of them in Season 3.

Meh.

Even the cliff hanger of Deb finding out about Dexter, I am going into next season assuming that was all a dream...where Deb is dreaming about having some amazing connection with Dexter...she opens up to him about being in love, she knows his deepest, darkest secret...yup...it was all a dream...I used to read Word Up Magazine...

And not overly intrigued with fruit pop intern either at this point. Just don't care.

I don't even know what to say, my expectations were sooooooo low this season and the DDK shit got me excited they'd turn it around. Nope, they fell flat on their face again.

Nobody died and the 'cliffhanger' is something that shoulda happened seasons ago. This should have been the end.
