One discrepancy I noticed after my season 3 re-watch, nothing major but still: in s3 Quinn drives a really nice car and says he has an Uncle in Boston who helps him with money, so it's assumed he's pretty well off right? In s4 he's taking money from crime scenes and telling Dex how he can barely afford rent/mortgage. Just something I noticed

Does anyone know if they've already started taping season 5?
I wonder if Michael C. Hall's do in that Lithgow interview has anything to do with Dexter's "fundamental change" that he keeps referring to in the interview or if it's completely unrelated to Dexter.
It's obvious that Dexter's character is going to drastically change in season 5, but how and to what extreme is the question. Is he going to shut everyone out and refer back to his isolated ways of season 1? Maybe blow-up and lose his job and expose his inner rage to everyone around him? Throughout the show's history, people have grown more and more curious of Dexter's peculiarity with every season, it's only a matter of time before the curiosity becomes widespread suspicion.Comment

That's all I could find, there's not really anything new in the interview.Comment

I just finished Season 4...and damn, I think it did surpass Season 1. I was already a pretty big fan of Lithgow (Trinity Killer) before this, but seeing him play this role made me like him that much more. Love this show and I'm already sad that I finished all 4 seasons in prob a little less than a month...having to wait almost another year now for 5 lol.
The episode where Lundy and Deb get shot caught me completely off guard and the way they did it was brilliant (at the risk of sounding disturbing lol). Then of course the finale was pretty good. I think next season we're gonna see more how the fact that Deb knows who Dex is now and see where this whole Quinn character is shaping up to be.

Yeah there is definitely something deeper to Quinn than the show has not gotten to yet.
He will eventually be exposed for something larger than stealing from crime scenes and/or be sleeping with Doakes.Comment

Crap, now I cannot wait to watch Season 4 after reading the last page. Finished season 3 about a week ago.
Season 1 > Season 3 > Season 2
Loved all seasons thoughComment

It's good to see more people getting into this show. Everyone that watches it seems to enjoy it.
I hated Rita.
A few episodes into season 4, I actually started to think that Dexter was going to have to kill her because she was becoming a problem. I'm glad the Trinity killer did us all a favor and got rid of her. She was annoying and getting on my fucking nerves.
For those of you that do like her and miss her, read she's got a spot on this seasons Desperate Housewives, so you might wanna tune into that.Last edited by Tailback U; 01-17-2010, 02:55 PM.Comment
