Breaking Bad

Didn't see an official thread for Breaking Bad but fuck...what an awesome show. I just started season 3 and have blown through seasons 1 (7 episodes) and 2 (13 episodes) in about 2 weeks. Really love this show.

Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced and inoperable lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in a desire to secure his family's financial future.

The dad from Malcolm in the Middle is a badass, chemistry teacher cooking up meth with a former student. Does it get any better?


Season 4 is set to air this summer I believe. Discuss the show. Use spoilers. If you haven't started to watch this, it's on AMC and can find the seasons online easily. If you're looking for the next to watch, this filled in GREAT after Six Feet Under/True Blood. Some of the comedy is pretty awesome at times.

Some series take time to develop but this really....caught me in Episode 1.

This is my favorite show.

I remember 3 years ago I fell asleep on the sofa watching something on AMC. When I woke up, the premier of the Breaking Bad pilot just came on. I decided to watch it, and I loved it. Ever since I have watched every episode as they have come out.

Love this series!!

Tip: If you want to watch this show, you have to start from the beginning to fully appreciate it.

my avatar says plenty ;O Breaking bad is easily the best show on television right now, and nothing even comes close. I went from finishing Breaking Bad to watching sons of anarchy and its just not even remotely as good. BB is a show that starts with a really great episode and only gets better from there. It is brilliant to watch as Walt survives some pretty evil shit, but there are always worse things that come as a consequence. He sells his soul, and he just goes deeper into hell with each episode. I highly recommend it

I know that I'm VERY late to this party, I've been meaning to watch this show for a long time but hadn't gotten around to it until I was at Best Buy on Sunday and saw seasons 1 and 2 on sale for like $40 total...just finished season one and holy crap it's even better than I expected. I can't wait to see more of Tuco, that guy is batshit crazy. And also, I already hate Marie, she's unattractive, annoying, and totally bitchy.
