The finale was good, but I still expected more.

Out of everyone on the show, they were the only two true innocents. They each had their lives turned upside down and inside out in a matter of weeks...they are the truest tragic characters I can think of in modern TV. Marie will get closure with Hank's remains, and Walt Jr. will be a millionaire....but their lives will never be the same.
There is no way the series could have ended any other way. Heisenberg died the second he finally told the truth to Skylar, he redeemed himself in Jesse's eyes and he killed all those that betrayed him. Excellent. Just excellent.
Hardly an innocent.Comment

Great ending to one of the best drama series in the history of television. The way that he took out Lydia with the Ricin, Jesse getting to choke the life out of Todd and the M-60 taking out all of the Nazi's save for Walt getting the satisfaction of taking out Uncle Jack more personally.
Bravo Vince Gilligan and the entire cast-

Herc/Devil really dropped the ball on the car search...
..the episode had its deus ex machina moments and the Stevia thing was a little heavy handed this episode but overall it was a beautiful way to close out the series.
The flashbacks were brilliant. Seeing Jesse make the one thing in his life that he was truly proud of was really special and the flashback to Hank offering the ride along with just about every main character in the room had me .

When she was stealing, she was doing it for attention. The first time she did it, Hank was about to start his new job in El Paso and Walt had just told everyone about his cancer. She kept stealing more expensive stuff so that someone would catch her and pay attention to her. She did the whole lying/stealing thing in the houses because Hank was being an insufferable prick while recovering and everything she did was going unnoticed.
I don't think that what she did was "evil" since she ended up making amends for the things she stole. She was just being a petulant child who was stomping her feet so someone would look at her.Comment

The writers seriously considered a "kill everyone except Walt and leave him suffering" ending. They finally opted for what we saw.
Either route was fine by me , that confession was the key one of the entire series. Critics are praising it because its finally an "honest" way for a villain to go out.
Him having to press the car keys a few times was great.Best reason to have a license.

This show was passed on by numerous networks and was slow to warm as a viewing audience...but, with Netflix and the ability crash watch...by Season 5, the show was one of the highest rated shows on cable TV.Comment
