I am not convinced he died at the end. Bullet could have missed vital organs, and he was taken to the hospital and recovers. He beats the cancer and tried and found guilty but New Mexico no longer has the death penalty, so he is sent to prison. He breaks out of prison with the help of that good looking meth cooker your wife speakiths and attends the 18th birthday for Flynn who by the way gets a check for 9 million dollars. Walt and family then leave for Mexico to open up a resort/car wash/pharmacy/RV Center/ near Puerto Vallarta. After a few years they open up the Science Center of Julisco, for kids and adults of all ages. Inside that center will be a restaurant the serves Los Pollos Hermanos chicken.

Great finale. Absolutely amazing ending to an amazing show. Very sad that it's over. It left on top making u feel like u wanted more. I wish shows like this could go on forever, but as they say...All bad things must come to an end

The writers seriously considered a "kill everyone except Walt and leave him suffering" ending. They finally opted for what we saw.
Either route was fine by me , that confession was the key one of the entire series. Critics are praising it because its finally an "honest" way for a villain to go out.
Him having to press the car keys a few times was great.

I prefer the one we got. He still suffered. He lost the ability to spend the rest of his time with his family and they'll hate him forever.

If Walt lived through the ending for a movie, I'm good with that. If he died and the series simply goes to "Better Call Saul," I'm also good with that. Staying in spoiler mode. Many people Netflix this series.
