Oh No not another one. Hangover 3?

'Hangover' writer in talks for a three-quel

There's been much chatter about a potential “Hangover III," such as the idea that the Wolf Pack may end up in Amsterdam or Todd Phillips may eschew his forgotten night “blueprint."

But after that record-setting open from the "Hangover II," Warner Bros. seems to be revving up for a third installment, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The comedy, starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, collected more than $200 million worldwide over Memorial Day weekend, breaking records for a comedy open in North America.

It would make sense, then, if Warner Bros. wanted to get to work on another one.

Although the studio didn't officially comment on its intent to go gung-ho with a third “Hangover,” it seems Craig Mazin, the writer of “Part II” is in early talks to work on the third installment. According to THR, a source at Warner Bros. said “Hangover III” is “all but a given.”

As long as they divert from the same blueprint they ran #1 & #2 off of, I'd be all for it.

They need to make part III about the party they have the night when Chow gets out of prison.

The studio will make it happen; this movie grossed waaaay too much money for it not to happen. From what I've read, Bradley Cooper is ecstatic at the idea and Todd Phillips plans to divert from the paint by numbers type of movie the second one was and make a completely different movie.

I'm all for it. The 2nd one was literally the same exact movie as the first, just not as funny but more ridiculous. I liked it a lot more the second time around, but I still wouldn't consider it "good." It was better than a shit ton of the comedies that come out these days. I'd like Todd Phillips save face after the disappointing and mediocre sequel.

          I hope it's differant..

The Hangover was pretty much a sequel to Old School.

          Premise
          • Three guys casting off family and responsibility in order to get back in touch with their inner bro. Things inevitably go way too far...

          Characters
          • The handsome, married alpha-male ringleader who pushes the gang further into debauchery.
          (Vince Vaughn/Bradley Cooper)
          • The gentle but unstable teddy bear who saves the day with an inexplicable, deus-ex-machina burst of genius (beating James Carville in a debate/Summoning Rain Man at the blackjack table).
          (Will Ferrell/Zach Galafianakis)
          • The cuckolded loser who comes out of the whole experience with a new lease on life, and a possibility of true love.
          (Luke Wilson/Ed Helms)

          Plot points
          • A dude cheers when the unstable teddy bear character gets accidentally shot in the head with a non-lethal weapon.
          (Seann William Scott/Rob Riggle)
          • Saying/doing inappropriate things in front of a baby.
          • A performance by the Dan Band.

          Hmm...

          Food for thought

Yeah, I'd fuck Bradley Cooper 100 times before even considering an OTPHJ from Vince Vaughn.

Given how much money the cast is making for the second one - I think the main guys all got points - it shouldn't be hard to get them to come back. They could probably do pretty well by just keeping the same script and changing the setting again, but I'd prefer to see them change it up a bit....

You've seen Wet Hot American Summer right? I saw it again like a week ago, and saw that Bradley Cooper gets ass fucked by Michael Ian Black at camp. Totally forgot about that.

Yeah, I remember seeing it before I knew who 90% of the cast was. Revisited it a few months back and my mind was blown.

The first one had it's moments, the second one looks terrible even though I haven't seen it yet. I usually like these types of movies but they have work to do if they wanna make this even somewhat work.
