I never said underground strips artistic merit or influence, you're still misunderstanding this. IT'S NOT A NEGATIVE TERM, it simply means they resided outside the mainstream, how can you deny that?

I should thank you for posting that list.

I've alway known in my heart that Korn was better then Pink Floyd. Now I finally got something that backs me up.

Korn and Nirvana shouldn't be on anyones Top 10,000 albums, ever.

If I'm the mother i'll be satisfied. Houston being black just means he won't stick around. No baby daddy. No Houston.

Not more, but he could end being just as influential in the progression of Hip Hop culture and Rap music. (There you go Anthony) He's developed the genre, he was a major contributor to a lot of the production of popular rap over the past 15 years, he's also become the most influential singular performer in the genre over the past 10 years. Rappers slop up whatever musical styles Kanye throws down and it blows up. Look no further than the chipmunk samples from 2002-2006, the use of auto tune and 808's after his 808's and Heartbreaks albums. One of my major points this entire thread has been that Kanye is still performing and developing as an artist which makes it all hypothetical what he will do, however, up to this point the influence he has displayed on Rap as well as popular culture isn't pointing to him fading.

Don't you hate that everyone wears stupid shit like unnecessary high top sneakers, Louis Vuitton everything, those plastic colored sunglasses? All of those were at least partially spread to the masses by Kanye West.
