KOF, you should definitely give it a shot. I think you can get the DVDs for next to nothing, and as I said in my post, it was made for that format. It's a great show, but definitely is different in comparison to David's stuff. It's a bit more zany (excluding Seinfeld seasons 8 and 9) and slapstick, but in a good way.
Curb or Seinfeld?

Its on Netflix, if you have it.
As for Seinfeld, I watched that show (2 episodes) every single day for years after work. I catch it now and then currently but my wife hates the show, so I tend to not watch it much anymore. But it is classic and the cast of characters (and their interaction) will probably never be duplicated.

I don't think LD had anything to do with it.
I know Ron Howard did though, and also narrates it.
This is not an exciting video btw.
They are making a movie out of the show though.

It tanked ratings wise. Fox even gave it more of a shot than it did most of its shows, but because of the nature of it it never caught on. You really just can't pick it up in the middle and get the full enjoyment. It's a shame if only because they had to rush Season 3 (which was still good but was obviously rushed) and because we don't get more. But at the same time, I can see why they did. They really need to start making direct to DVD shows.Comment

The fact that it survived 3 seasons is an indicator of just how good it was. FOX couldn't dare to pull the plug on a show that was winning Emmys left and right and had a massive cult following.

We need a thread dedicated just to AD. I am coming across like an AD hater in this thread when I am anything but. Just to me, the three best comedies ever are AD, Seinfeld and Curb. Maybe saying that AD shouldn't be included because it was a failure is unfair. I take it back. I just think it's way too different to compare.Comment
