Yes, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Top 30 series on IMDB:webgem:

So what's the premise of the series?

How is Korra related to Aang and Katara?

Physically, not at all. She's the next Avatar that's born after Aang dies...of old age I guess.

        Location:

After the last series Aang and Zuko created a city where all the different bending tribes can live together in peace. Since then though, decades have passed and it's being ran by the antagonist(and the police) who outlaw bending. Supposedly the entire series takes place in this city, there's no huge journey like the one Aang took.

        Main Character:

Where Aang started off with Air, and learned everything else on the way. Korra knows everything but Air Bending, and learns it from Aang and Katara's son who's probably around 40 now.

Pretty much the jist of it.

          Gotcha.

Loved the last series... one of my favorite cartoon ones ever. Wish the movie adaptation wouldn't have been so awful.

That is not an outlandish statement at all. Seriously it was a incredible series.

I guess it was just me never really getting into it and watching it from the first episode. The few episodes I did watch didn't really grab me

I probably didn't think much of the first few episodes either. Can promise though, if you would've made it to the last 2 episodes(The Siege of the North) of the first book. You would've been hooked.

Yeah I had a link yesterday but decided not to watch. If I did then I'd have to wait an entire month for the 2nd episode.

                          Why bother dl'ing it?

www.korranation.com has the first two episodes. Note the adult Aang as the "air" example in the opening.

They weren't kidding about the show having a more serious tone.

I checked and the premiere on Saturday is actually an hour long. That's probably why both 1 and 2 were leaked.

Also Nick is having another Avatar extras marathon which started today at 1. 12 episodes per day. I'll tune in every now and then if nothing else is on.
