It's a very selective internship but it was fairly easy to get. As long as they feel you'll fit in with the work environment, you're good to go. Honestly, I think VSN primed me pretty well to take the daily trolling etc.

Howard is great. He's almost like a ghost, where you hardly see him but you'll see him out the corner of your eye. I've had a few encounters with him. The first show day I worked, we passed each other in the hallway a bunch but I made it look like I was in the middle of something at all times and rushing so it didn't seem like I was awestricken. Finally right after the show I pass him on the way out of the studio and he stops me and we shook hands and small talked about our height. He's extremely pleasant, though. In our Lotus Notes system, he posts a lot and is very complimentary and supportive.

As for lunch, after the show is our busiest time as interns. We are usually in studio for the Wrap-Up Show, so we grab a quick bite and bring it into the studio. Most of the time during the show is spent writing jokes and looking up stories as the show goes on. I've gotten coffee for one person, once, and only because I offered Jason Kaplan one from the kitchen. Everybody on the show is exactly how they are on the air. The only person that's even remotely stuck up is JD Harmeyer, but I think thats more so his awkwardness and shyness than anything else.

I've talked to Steve Brandano about taking over for him as the host of the Intern Show. He said that that'd be the best way to obtain a post-internship job. I've also contributed a lot. If you're listening, you'll actually hear about a few of our locker room threads. Two things I know will be on Howard on Monday because I've pitched them were the horse fucker and Billie Joe freaking out. I'll be plugging the site on the Intern Show once a week.

I'm there until December 21st. I'm real iffy about posting pictures from the show, since I don't really know the ground rules yet, but that may change.

She's fine. All we really know is that the tumor was benign. Jim McClure still sets up Robin at her apartment to do it remotely, though. I think she just can't sit up for extended periods of time because of the operation. She'll be back.

Shuli was in Arties chair today and he did pretty well. Obviously some haters out there talking shit about it, though. If you listened, what did you think?

If you don't have him on Sirius and want your fix of nude bitches and Howard, I'd definitely suggest looking into it.

As for pics of the girls, I'm 100% against photographing any celebrity... sorry man. They get enough of that shit from the paparazzi, don't need to bring it into the workplace.
