Reading up on the cast now. The casting is pretty wierd. There are a few contestants that didn't even apply for the show, just picked randomly by casting. One contestant doesn't even watch Big Brother. Another contestant made the CBS promo commercials, but somehow is not one of the houseguests...lol.

Which makes me realize why CBS brings back some of the old guard who are good players, to ensure the actual game play is good and knowing they have some sort or presence/personality attributes to make it entertaining. It's a safe bet for them. But I'd still rather see new people I guess.

This cast looks dynamic. It should make for good TV.

Will - Mike - Kaysar - Howie would be a solid return group however highly unlikely

im pretty sure say if they have a house for 12 (new) people they will cast/sequester around 14 in case some drop out, or they find out they like someone more or less and will swap around the 12; kinda like training camp

I disagree. I was reading their bios and there was a section about game strategy. All but three or four of them pretty much said they would sit back and let things happen. Frank seems to have the best game plan, it seems he wants to set up an alliance similar to the Brigade. Ian said he wants to set up a six person alliance. In a twelve person house, that is just bound for disaster.

Ya I am a little concerned reading their bios as well. Two contestants didn't even apply, just were picked randomly. Another one admitted to never watching the show before.

CBS has the mentors to fall back on and have them probably call the shots and telling some of their team members what to do.

One thing that worries me about the whole mentor thing is I feel like it will create "teams." Then again, they did something similar when they had "cliques" in season 11 and those starter alliances lasted all of 30 seconds.

I'm pretty sure they've been doing that for a while. I think last year that model from the south was a last minute add on. They throw MAW's on there all the time.

MAW = Model Actor Whatevers aka the city of los angeles
