9.79* was meh. Carl Lewis might be one of the biggest jack asses in all of sports though.

I wanted to punch Carl Lewis's midget of a coach the entire time.

        That guy was a faggot!

I agree. It didn't go in depth with anything and basically was just a bunch of interviews about wild spending that we already knew.

I was interested in 9.79, because I do enjoy track and field. I was a little kid when all of this went down, so I didn't know about most of it. I enjoyed it.

I also enjoyed 9.79. I thought it made Carl Lewis look really bad. Like a real sore loser type douche. To see that 6 of the 8 lanes were doping, or at some point did was not too shocking but still a bit of a brow raiser.

Much better than Broke, which was unsurprisingly one of the most underwhelming films of the series.

I watched There’s No Place Like Home last night. It was sort of meh. Basically about a guy who goes around trying to fund raise for James Naismith's rules of basketball documents to donate them to Kansas. He met with well known coaches associated with the program and boosters, but it didn't seem as if any wanted to help. I will say the guy was pretty passionate, but the funny part was that all of the funds came from one guy who was one of the more notable boosters for the basketball program, which was $3.8 million.

Meh is an understatement. Boring is more like it...unless you're a KU homer.

I'm really surprised they are reaching for material (the Naismith one... come on). There are still so many great stories they can try and get too (and I'm sure we will be seeing a Reggie Bush/USC one in the relatively near future).

i found a dl of like 20 of these shows. i cant watch them because they are just stupid or boring or made up of content nobody gives a shit about. like the one night in vegas about the tyson fight when tpac got killed. it could have been good if they just talked about the events of what happened that night. but instead they give it this lame rap hip hop theme that was completely annoying to watch.

others like the band that would die about the colts band....my god how dull and such a stupid topic. The without bias one was a good topic, but it was just so dam boring.

the OJ one was great because it was a good topic and it delivered the facts of the event through clips rather than some gay theme or boring point of views. I also like the Gretzky, Jimmy the Greek, birth of big air and USFL shows.

thought the 9.79 was interesting. to hear the head of the doping thing say he wasn't going to act on the info he had shows that this shit runs more rampant than even we think.
Broke was garbage. thought they were going to have a different theme to it.

especially when u see people like lance armstrong being raked over the coals because he was outed. im not saying he is ok for doping, but you know dam well everyone is doing it...same with the people who ran back in 88....the stuff about the guy who was planted in the testing room is just beyond belief

This Benji one was one of the best of the series I think. Very well done.

Yep, Benji was really good. I also liked the fact that they interviewed the dude that killed him as well......it brought perspective. Sometimes it is better to just walk on by.
