Yeah, I personally would actually love to sign Lowe, I mean, we have a ton money to spend after the Manny trade, why not?

the only thing i could see them saying is that they just want to develop bowden/bucky/maybe masterson if they move him back to being a starterComment

In years in which Lowe only started for Boston:
2002: 32 GS; 219 innings (21-8) 2.58 ERA (3rd in Cy Young)
2003: 33 GS; 203 innings (17-7) 4.47 ERA
2004: 33 GS; 182 innings (14-12) 5.42 ERA
(not sure about home and away stats)
so...there ya have it
edit: got some more stats
2002- home: (9-4) 2.01 ERA, away: (12-4) 3.04
2003- home: (11-2) 3.21 ERA, away: (6-5) 6.01 ERA
2004- home: (8-4) 4.55 ERA, away: (6-8) 6.21 ERA
so here's clearly good at FenwayLast edited by kyhadley; 11-15-2008, 08:27 PM.Comment

I think peavy isn't as great as a pitcher as he's made out to be. He usually never throws past the 6th or 7th inning of any game, and he's already nearing 100 pitches by the 5th, and its not like the yankees have a great bullpenComment
