    The Reason Behind Ichiro's Slump

    Interesting.

    Perhaps there's been so much scouting of Ichiro, what with being the Mariners' best hitter, that defenders are adjusting, slightly, to him and being a step or two closer to where the ball is hit. That coupled with a reduction in Ichiro's speed due to age and ... there you go.
    The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
