The Marlins got all bitchy few years back when Reyes would dance around and celebrate with teammates. No doubt under Guillen, he'd be dancing up and down that new stadium.

I was resigned to losing Reyes but dreaded him going to a contender. I hope SOMEONE else out there comes into play.

Would be surprising if they're the only legit team in on him.

CJ Wilson wants to get paid foreal..

SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that C.J. Wilson is looking for a six-year, $120 million contract.
It doesn't seem likely that he'll find it, but that's not a bad place for his agent to start. Wilson has drawn interest from enough teams that he should be able to land a contract of five years or more, but asking for $20 million annually is probably a reach. The Marlins, Red Sox, Yankees and Angels are said to have serious interest, and the Rangers will also attempt to re-sign the lefty.

There is always the chance that the bidding reaches that point, but I think that most teams are going to try and sign Wilson to a four or five year contract. He is 31, and signing a six year deal would be stupid for any club.

Don't worry about age though with Wilson. He has almost half the innings a normal 31-year old starting pitcher does. Guys break down as they age no doubt, but he still has a relatively fresh arm.

The Cleveland Indians and outfielder Grady Sizemore are on the verge of agreeing on a one-year deal, sources told ESPN.com's Buster Olney.

The Indians declined a $9 million option and allowed Sizemore to become a free agent less than three weeks ago.

Sizemore, 29, has generated interest from at least eight teams and appeared ready to let the market play out over the coming weeks. But the Indians moved to the front of the line Friday.

"The Indians came at us with an aggressive offer,'' agent Joe Urbon told ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick. "Grady has always maintained that he would be interested in returning to Cleveland.''

Sizemore, who began his career with Montreal in 2000, came to Cleveland with Cliff Lee and Brandon Phillips in 2004 as part of a six-player trade that sent Bartolo Colon to the Expos. He emerged as a star at age 22 and made three straight All-Star teams from 2006 through 2008, but in recent years he's had trouble staying on the field because of injuries.

Sizemore hit .224 with 10 homers in 71 games this year, and the Indians recently declined his 2012 option and paid him a $500,000 buyout.

Since becoming a free agent, Sizemore has generated interest from the Philadelphia Phillies, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees -- teams that viewed him as an intriguing bounce-back candidate on a one-year deal. Those clubs either called Urbon to express interest in Sizemore or asked to check out his medical records as a prelude to contract talks.

Not a surprise here, though I thought the Reds might push hard for Sizemore. Indians have the best idea about his medical records following microfracture surgery and probably gave him the best offer he received.

I don't mind the signing for the Rangers. Really like Nathan and I think he can pitch like he did a few seasons ago. This move allows Feliz to go to the rotation as well.

If it was a team like the Pirates/Orioles/Jays etc I would have hated the deal for them, but the Rangers can risk giving out deals like this. They've been to the W.S. each of the last two seasons, and they are a very, very good team.

Philly prints money, they can afford to pay a little extra to get the guy they want, and, they got him.

Philly has entered Yankees territory where you have to judge the moves they make a little differently. If I was a Yankees fan, I would never care how much money I gave anyone. Philly is almost at that point.

$14.5 million guaranteed for Nathan? Wow, that is a terrible decision, even though I like the move. It gives the Rangers an experienced option to close and will allow them to move their best pitcher into the rotation.

And someone mentioned that it should upset me as an Oriole fan, but it doesn't. We have our closer in Gregg for at least another year, and he is serviceable. It isn't the Orioles MO to spend a whole lot of money on pitchers, especially when they have the recent health history of Nathan. It wasn't a move we would make anyway, and while we do sign a whole lot of relievers, they never seem to work out well anyway.
