Ariza wishes he had Scottie's court vision and handles.

Its just a fun comparison cause Ariza is with Kobe.. but its not a fair one. Ariza will never live up to Scottie.

People see the defense that Ariza has, and make the comparison. But, his offensive game is nowhere near what Pippen had. He has improved big time though the past year. Has become somewhat of a threat where last year, he was just a defensive specialist.

physically, athletically, and style of play wise, yes, i see the comparisons. ariza wont ever be where pippen was though.

Ariza is improving, but not nearly on the same level as Pippen.

I have a feeling Trevor won't be with Lakers unless they give him a huge payday this offseason.

                    1984 Record: 44-38 (9th in west)
                    1985 Record: 42-40 (7th in west; 1st round exit)
1986 Record: 51-31 (3rd in west; swept in finals)

The Grizzlies theme this season should be : "This Season, We're Doing It For The Lulz"

Either you never watched Pippen... or... you just flat don't know basketball.

Ariza's a fine player, but he's nowhere near Pippen.

He redefined the "Point Forward." To me, he is the greatest perimeter defender of all time. I dont think Ariza will ever have the handles or court vision of Pippen nor will Ariza ever lead his team in all 5 statistical areas.
How did he redefine the point forward? He was the definition of the point forward.

I think Odom is more likely to resign than Ariza is, because Ariza is a young player who has proved A LOT in this season, making big time steals, and hitting big shots in the Finals. He's going to get big offers this off season, and LA isn't going to have the money to be able to keep him. All I've got to say is, Trevor Ariza, I am a fan.
The thing is... you have to wonder if Ariza is really just another contract year player who really stepped it up after years of mediocre play.

Now that I think about it though, I'm probably wrong about that, if I'm not mistaken he wasn't a lazy player in his early years... someone correct me if I'm wrong. But a team needing a SF will certainly spend a lot of money to try to get him.
Finally back after a 3 year hiatus!

If Ariza is the second coming of Pippen than LOLGASOL is the second coming of Dennis Rodman.
