I think it's fair to say Griffin has an argument for it. One major knock against him is KG and Dirk were both on Playoff teams, but you cannot say that what Griffin is doing isn't impressive. I think he deserves mentions as far as MVP, even if he doesn't even have much of an outside shot at winning it, and just that in your Rookie season is very uncommon.

Decent game between the Knicks and Heat. Wade was on fire in the second and third quarters, something like 13 buckets in a row

WooT Knicks! despite not being able to land a shot to save their lives late in the third, they came back to win with defense and clutch shooting.

that was a great game by the Knicks, i'm glad I was at the game to see it, yea, right after halftime, Heat looked like they were gonna take the game, but the Knicks stepped it up and won the game, got a few souvenirs, cap, program, and a shirt
