So..... LeBron has been given the tougher assignments (aka the MVP of the NBA), but somehow that means Wade was a better defender. What?

Lebron played Rose for the 4th qtr of two games. I'm not saying Lebrons not a good defender. I'm just not impressed we a 6'7 forward makes it hard for a 6'2 guard to shoot. You didn't seem him playing Dirk this series either, if he's the best defender on your team shouldn't he be on the other teams best player? He's about the same size as Haslem.

C'mon.. The short minded memory of sports fans is quite ridiculous.
yea havent really watched wade or heat play all season besides the big marquee games.

so you are saying regardless of his performance now, LBJ is better then wade? IDK, i remember a few years back wade had one of the best individual performances in the playoffs VS boston, the same team that destroyed LBJ.

I think I was underestimating wade. his D is very good now and his offense is better then LBJs IMO.

Wade shouldn't be better than James, but he just seems like he wants it more the way he plays. If James played with the effort/intensity of Wade he'd be unstoppable, but he doesn't, so he isn't.

I think youre out of your mind.

And I find it comical that you have found a new and creative way to bash Lebron by using height and age of his opposition as a qualifier. There is a reason Lebron guards the other teams best player, especially in the 4thQ. And its not because their short.

I'm not bashing him, i'm just not impressed by it. And as far as guarding the teams best player, i STILL haven't seen him guard Dirk this series, which i defiantly thought would happen.

Like I get that people don't like LeBron (I'm one of them) but why the constant discredit of his game? You can hate a guy and also realize he's a fucking amazingly talented player.

                  Lebron>>>>Wade.

Wade has played better than Lebron in the Finals but I don't think that negates LeBron ripping out the hearts of the Celtics and Bulls repeatedly in the past two rounds.

I think what we are also ignoring is that perhaps Wade has been able to get off a bit mroe in the Finals because the Mavs are so focused on LeBron.

what series was it where he 'quit' game 5 then in game 6 he had a 10 turnover game?

i think some of you guys are misunderstanding something, this isnt about how bad LBJ is, but rather how good wade is. IMO LBJ and Wade are the top 2 players in the game right now. I used to think it was LBJ but now maybe its a lot closer then what i thought before.

I'm not hating on Lebron at all, but because of the physical tools he has, i expect him to do more than some other guys. It takes more for Lebron to look impressive than Wade, and on top of that Wade plays harder, even on his off nights you still see him hustling and trying to make plays and shots, even if he's missing um, when LBJ has an off night, which isn't too often, he disappears.

I won't argue that LeBron isn't maximizing his talents to their fullest potential, but even then I still think he's a far better player then Wade.

                            That was 09-10.

35 pts, 7 assists, 7 rebounds Game One
24 points, 4 assists, 7 rebounds Game Two
38 points, 7 assists, 8 rebounds Game Three
22 points, 8 assists, 9 rebounds Game Four (7 turnovers)
15 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds Game Five
27 points, 10 assists, 19 rebounds Game Six (9 turnovers)

They sure destroyed him on his way to a triple double.

yea i remember his game 5. also if i remember correctly werent the Cavs favored that series and also had the Ls best record? maybe destroyed wasnt the right word. but how can we say the best player in the game hands down, one compared to the all time greatest, have games like game 5?

now since u want to be stickler for this, look at wades performance against the same Boston team and tell me whos was more impressive.

James is not the number 1 guy on his team to win the game, he just isnt, from the small sample I have seen, he is no MJ, Bird or Magic, even Magic as the passer, running the offense, he made sure he was the one taking over and winning the game at the end somehow, it was on Magic, I don't see that with James, I see that with Wade

There is a reason he dumped the Cavs and teamed up with Wade and Bosh
