    No it wouldn't
JR grew up in South Bend and has always liked ND. he's a current student at IU.

He cheers for his child hood team and the school he goes to now....

Your Bear Pand reference makes no sense seeing as he went to Purdue.........

ding ding ding we have a winner hes always claimed to be a purdue fan on these boards so hes not cheering when IU wins.

My problem is for the past what 4 years hes been posting around here ive never once heard him mention IU sports one time. Its been 100 pct Notre Dame and a post that he goes to IU.

its cool though we are on a site where its cool for one guy to cheer for the lakers, redsox, UNC, and the Redwings apparently.

Otule is out for an undisclosed amount of time, that will really hurt us both in the post D and on the boards. Tallest active player now is 6'8", just like the good ol' days.

I have a feeling we won't stay undefeated past Vandy...

This also might shock you but Jay is a freshman at IU.

I'd venture to say he's not the first person to start attending the school..then really start rooting for them....

I wasn't pumping up NIU when was a junior in high school and had no tie there yet.

He's talked about IU football in the NCAA section ..................as much as one can...

You comparison to Pand still makes no sense on any level.

Jay grew up cheering for ND...got into Indiana and started rooting for his college as well as his childhood team. Not odd.

Pand went to Purdue...so he cheers for Purdue..much as Jay rock is doing with IU.

Not sure if Pand grew up rooting for Purdue or not..so....you really don't have a leg to stand on here.

lol Jay congrats on the win its not that serious, im aware you go to IU i just always associated you with ND sports teams. Im happy Crean is at IU. Him and Cal seem to be friends and there will be some fun recruiting battles. IU being good is great for college basketball IMO and they seem to be pretty good this year.

Fuck that little white guy that shoots like a girl from 3 but doesnt miss, Hulls his name?

IU fans i find to be much like Kansas fans they think they are clean and everyone who beats them is dirty.

Im not going to lie to you, i figured after UK beat UNC IU stood no chance in this game. Your guys came out and played it like the world was ending and came away with a great victory.
I was ready to come and post "nice try, you gave it your all IU" but they just kept making great plays.
I dont want to speak of this game ever again.

Like I said the highlight of the past few years at IU has been a dunk in a game against Iowa. Literally that is it. Not sure what you wanted me to talk about. I watched games when I could. This year Abro got hurt for ND and they suck and IU is on the rise. Not much to talk about as far as ND basketball goes. They suck, but they'll be great next year.

Honestly, I'm just going to root for whatever team helps me win arguments on VSN.
Sounds like you are just a front runner to me.

                          Purdue

Can't shoot free throws, can't close games. Should have won both the road game at Xavier and neutral game vs Butler today but gave up large leads in both.

                          Gonna be a long year.

Big win tonight vs. a ranked Bama squad.

Sprint Center was packed with purple.

Enjoyed the game from seats behind the Alabama bench 13 rows up.

Feels good, but we are probably an NIT team this year.

                              Robert Morris 72, Louisiana-Lafayette 64

A 43-28 advantage in the second half paced a comeback Colonials victory.

Very ugly first half for RMU as ULL shot the lights out with over 50% shooting from behind the arc. ULL also stole the ball four times from the top of the key, leading to fast-break dunks. Velton Jones had just one point in the first half after picking up three fouls. He picked it up though in the final 20 minutes and had a team-high 16 points.

Big story here though is the debut of Iona transfer Mike McFadden. Holy shit he is fun to watch. He started with an injury to Lijah Thompson (still can't get fully healthy yet apparently) and scored the first five Colonial points (13 overall). He runs the floor extremely well for a man his size and can handle it inside. Could be a little softer with his shots inside, but the already good Colonials just found a big scoring threat inside that they lacked so far. Lijah and McFadden will be a great big man duo in the NEC once Thompson is healthy.

Lucky Jones (12) and Coron Williams (10) each went for double-digits in the win.

This was my last game working until I go back to school in January. RMU hosts Hampton on Tuesday.

Big game tonight between LSU and Marquette. I know ATB and I will watch.

I predict LSU to come out hot from deep, and go into the half down 4 or 5... At some point Marquette will switch to a zone and LSU will stop scoring completely, and Marquette will eventually pull away to a 15-20 point win.

Anyway, geaux Tigers, hope we keep it close.
