No reason to replace Grunwald with that clown.

Mills has never been a GM and his biggest claim to fame is being the guy in charge for the Isiah Thomas sexual harrasment lawsuit that cost Dolan over $10M.

I saw the light years ago - this franchise is winning nothing with Dolan in change, NOTHING.

You cats should check out Frank Isola's recent column in the NY Daily News. It's really ticking me off Woodson and the Knicks organization (meaning Brain-Dead Dolan) have it in for Iman Shumpert. We finally have a draft pick that actually worked out, a cat who wants to play defense, yet Woodson keeps messing with him. Typical Knicks.

I've resigned myself to the fact that he'll either walk when his rookie deal is up, or they'll do something stupid like trade him

I don't get it either. If there is any player on the Knicks roster who exemplifies what they Knicks should be about it is Shumpert. Given his defensive abilities alone you would think Woodson would love him, but I am not sure why he is going to the media talking about areas where he thinks Shumpert needs to improve. If Smith starts over Shumpert it won't go over well and I can certainly see Shumpert leaving.

J.R. Smith embarrassed the Knicks organization, tanked against Indiana, but Shump is in Woodson's doghouse. Go figure.

Carmelo Anthony said in an interview with the New York Observer recently that he wants to become an unrestricted free agent.
"I think everybody in the NBA dreams to be a free agent at least one time in their career," he said. This doesn't necessarily mean he wants to leave the Knicks, as they can pay him $129 million over five years if he opts out early next summer and then re-signs, while another team could pay him 'just' $96 million over four years. Whatever decision he makes, you can expect the "Summer of Melodrama" when he likely opts out in July of 2014.

I think Melo's gone as well......no way he looks at this current Knicks roster and has the confidence they can get by the Heat or Indiana........hell, we couldn't even beat the Bulls without Derrick Rose!!

                        if the Knicks get to playoffs or even advance to 2nd round;
                        he is gone for sure.
i would think they would have to get to conference finals for anybody wanting to stay.

Melo being a FA is gonna be some nice$$$ jawn for him tho...
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

I don't see how he would leave, he'd leave too much money on the table to go somewhere new.

Winning above money doesn't seem like the equation for him.

I can't see Carmelo going to LA and playing for Pringles again.

Had to laugh when I saw the report about Dolan expecting a championship this season. Shows you how clueless he is. Unfortunately, Brain-Dead is serious, and Woody could be in trouble if the team fails.

Brain-Dead Dolan's at it again....wish there was some way to force him to sell the team..

We know of at least one person taking James Dolan seriously when the boss says he expects the Knicks to win the NBA championship this year. That person? Well of course, James Dolan. The media-shy c…
