Yeah, now they have just replaced them with athletic black guys or soft Euros with "potential".

At this point, you can put a 6'10 small forward at center and be perfectly okay. There's a good chance Durant and LeBron will be technically playing the four this year and Garnett at C. Pretty much, positions as we know them are dead in the NBA.

Not sure why so much hate for the Cavs...what isn't exciting to watch the best young PG in the league teaming up with a fat SG out of Syracuse who was drafted too high?

Very true, i've been saying it for years.

A typical NBA lineup is a PG, somebody tall (not necessarily a center or somebody with center skills), and your remaining three best players regardless of natural position or skill set.

The Sixers are a good example of this too, I believe their entire starting lineup except for Holiday (6'4) will be 6'6-6'7 and above.

Do not go with the Wolves. That fanbase is about to blow up into the most annoying fanbase in another year or two. Every young kid is on Love and Rubio's nuts. I know bad fan bases are something you don't want, so stick with Golden State or Denver. Two great fan bases that aren't annoying.

You already said it in the OP, but I'mma keep it real. The Nets want you...and here's why.

Forget your days of being a NEW JERSEY Nets fan...the BROOKLYN Nets are a new franchise...so, you can always tell your friends you were a fan of them "since day 1!!"

                Secondly, look at this roster...STACKED.

C - Brook Lopez (softy, but a talented softy)
PF - Kris Humphries (pretty boy) - Mirza Teletovic (big euro chucker) -Reggie Evans (thug) - Andray Blatche (thug)
SF - Gerald Wallace (thug) - Josh Childress (friendly neighborhood black)
SG - Joe Johnson (overrated) - MarShon Brooks (chucker) - Keith Bogans (thug) - Jerry Stackhouse (token towel swinging vet)
PG - Deron Williams (stud) - CJ Watson (bastard) - Tyshawn Taylor (rook)

This team has everything you want in a team. Surely, you can get into the Russian Mobs hitman (Teletovic) or nice black guy (Childress)...or, if chucker's are your thing...MarShon Brooks perhaps? If you really love the Matean Cleeves / Juwan Howard award winner in 2012-13, Jerry Stackhouse is your man. Regardless of what you are looking for...the Nets got the player you can get behind.

Warner2BruceTD isn't a guy that is all about glitz and glamour...W2B is a meat and potatoes kinda guy. He likes him some KENTA, Kobayashi and Kurt Angle...no frills work horses...that's why, fuck fancy uniforms and jerseys...black and white nigga.

And lastly...you ain't a fan unless you complain about a coach.

                Well...the Nets don't have a coach...they have a CORCH.

Fuckin guy is awful and will give you something to complain about every single game!

                Dumb Glaze? Check.
                Ridiculous Smile? Check.
Setting back black former players as coaches 25 years? Check.

If you really thought that was it...you are wrong...

The owner is epic. The Charlie Sheen of Russian politics. You will never have a dull offseason with this guy...

Now THATS a compelling case. Nets back in the mix.

what State do you live in ? where were you born ?

                      favorite/ more tolerable color?

...LOL I hate co-dependant threads like this, especially on gaming forums.

the weirdos that start a thread asking " who should i start my Madden franchise with ?" do they need that much help? are they that stupid?..if you are a sports fan and bought a sports game, you obviously already have a top 3 you may use...

anywho, lets take another route...which NBA team is closest to the Rams by/in miles... be their fan.

or..Bradford went to Oklahoma = Thunder

Yeah potentially the starting lineup could be

                            PG - 6'4"
                            SG - 6'7"
                            SF - 6'9"
                            PF - 7'1"
                            C - 7'0"

                              Orlando.

Here's why. Every decade or so, we get the #1 pick, pick the big man of the decade, get to the finals with him and lose. Big man ends up leaving to the Lakers, we are still competitive a couple years after he leaves. Wash, rinse, repeat. Not too many down years and not a lot of fans compared to the 'big' teams. Only have to deal with the bandwagon fans a few times in a decade
