Jason Kidd is going to get fired real real quick

ESPN ran an article before the season talking about how Kidd was destined to failure from the start. It basically said: When the Nets hired Kidd, it was the perfect opportunity for him. He was basically the missing link. He got a team that had loads of talent ripe in their prime whose biggest weakness was lack of playoff experience/success. That's where Kidd was supposed to come in and help.

Then the organization completely underminded that by going out and getting just as, if not more, experienced players in Pierce, KG and Terry (who was also happens to be an ex-teammate of Kidd). Now Kidd basically brings nothing to the table. Couple that with the fact this is his first year as a professional coach (of any kind) and you have a 3 and 10 start to the season.


The Nets are the equivalent of that pickup basketball team in summer leagues where the head coach is the same age as the players and nobody follows any kind of gameplan. There's no reason that team should be 3 and 10 in the East. Especially considering their losses include Orl, Sac, Was (), & Cha and they barely squeeked out a win against the Suns.

They can sign Melo if they use stretch provision on Nash, let Gasol walk and are okay with their team being Melo, Kobe, MLE and 8 minimum salary guys.

That deal absolutely guaranteed the team can't substantially improve until he's gone.
