Raptors don't even need Shumpert though so either A) they won't trade Lowry to NYK or B) a third party gets involved.

Shumpert isn't worth Lowry anyway. Neither is worth any kind of valuable pick. Not sure what they're looking at so yes, must be a 3rd party but the Raptors or Knicks would be sending picks IMO. I'm guessing the Raptors will get more relief, maybe an upside player while the Knicks would look to bring in a decent player to make a run for the playoffs and not kill of their team for another decade. They need to get rid of that Amare contract first and foremost.

Tough break on Steve Blake dude has been running the Lakers offense pretty well.

I just don't see that happening, they should used that amnesty on him.

Amare averaged 25/8/3/1/2 his first year so no way the Knicks would have used that amnesty on him before they cut Billups. Unfortunate luck with bad management all tied in. I'll be extremely impressed if they can somehow unload that contract. They either need to bring in a really solid player in order to compete, or take scrubs to replace Amare and start completely over.

Is that even an option with the amount of first round picks they've traded?

Quick thing, if Chris Bosh takes one more 3 pointer I'm going to break his kneecaps.

Lakers about to play 4 games in 5 nights, Kobe playing point guard & Mike D'Antoni said he's going to have him guard Westbrook tonight.

Westbrook is going to drop 50 tonight.

As a kings fan I've never been so excited for kings basketball since the Webber days. This time last year I didn't think I would have an NBA team anymore as I wouldn't rooted for the Seattle team and I can't force myself to be a fan of a team....Gay is our veteran presence and he is in his late 20's!

Gay is also one of the most inefficient players in the entire association. A lot of the enjoyment of watching the Kings will go out the window and just turn into frustration in the coming weeks.

Not to burst your bubble, but let's revisit your excitement in a few weeks!
