I will update this bi-weekly as new players declare
Round 1
1. Detroit (0-16) Sam Bradford - QB Oklahoma - The guy can make all the throws and seems to have a VERY slight edge over Stafford IMO
2. St. Louis (2-14) Eugene Monroe - OT Virginia - Played with Brandon Albert last yr, and took his job, which is why Albert was a Guard in college, great talent
3. Kansas City (2-14) Matt Stafford - QB Georgia - They seem content with Thigpen, but I'm not buying it. I don't even think Herm Edwards will be back and to rebuild you need a franchise QB. Staffod showed some great leadership skills after a so-so first half in Georgia's bowl game this yr
4. Seattle (4-12) Michael Crabtree - WR Texas Tech - Engram is old, he, Branch, Burleson, Robinson....they can't stay on the field. Injuries last yr might push them to take an O-lineman tho
5. Cleveland (4-12) Aaron Curry - LB Wake Forest - This guy is a MONSTER, can play any LB position and Mangini could use a talent like this to start things off right in Cleveland
6. Cincinnati (4-11-1) Andre Smith - OT Alabama - I know, top 5 talent...I'm a bit worried that character may be in question after the benching for the bowl game, but Cincy has no problem taking him here and they got a hell of a steal
7. Oakland (5-11) Malcolm Jenkins - CB Ohio State - You can't Franchise Asomugha every single year, and if you want him to sign long-term he needs help on the other side
8. Jacksonville (5-11) Michael Oher - OT Ole Miss - Injuries...by week 10 my overweight Uncle got a call because they needed help so bad. Oher is a bit inconsistent, but still a solid pick here
9. Green Bay (6-10) Jason Smith - OT Baylor - Who th hell is Jason Smith? A great lineman that can step in and help the Pack. Their tackles aren't gettin any younger. I wouldn't be surprised seeing a DT or DE going in this spot either
10. San Francisco (7-9) B.J. Raji - DT Boston College - Raji is shooting up draft boards...I'm probably reaching a bit here, but he is a monster who had an incredible bowl game. With this pick Balmer can come into LE, with Smith at RE to add a bit more depth to a struggling D-line
11. Buffalo (7-9) Brian Orakpo - DE Texas - They choked down the stretch, and DE is a definate need. Brady SHOULD be back, so they are gong to ned an ete pass rusher
12. Denver (8-8) Michael Johnson - DE Georgia Tech - I wanted to go with Chris Wells, but they do have good backs coming back from injury, and their pass rush was non-existent this season
13. Washington (8-8) Everette Brown - DE Florida State Washington could use d-line depth...Carter, Taylor, Daniels...all in that 30+ yr old range
14. New Orleans (8-8) Vontae Davis - CB llinois - The common pick here Laurinaitis....I don't buy it, Vilma Fujita and Dunbarr should be the starters. Every year the Saints try to sign a CB, Mckenzie is geting older, and Davis has a lot of potential
15. Houston (8-8) Taylor Mays - S USC - He is a beast at safety, could end up playing LB If a team would need him too. a pass rushing DE to play across from Williams would be a good pick here too.
16. San Diego (8-8) James Laurinaitis - LB Ohio State - Laurinatis, Cooper, Merriman, Phillips....thats a scary thought
17. New York Jets (9-7) Brandon Spikes - LB Florida - I think he would be a great fit, has the potential to play any LB position, he'll be great in the 3-4 alongside Harris
18. Chicago (9-7) George Selvie - DE USF - Chicago has DE's...but Brown and Ogunleye are getting older, and with Marinelli coaching up the d-line Selvie could flourish
19. Tampa Bay (9-7) Knowshon Moreno - RB Georgia - I personally don't like this pick...Idk how long Dunn will stay around...and the bucs must've lost the keys cuz the Cadillacs been stuck in the garage way too often
20. Detroit - from Dallas (9-7) Duke Robinson - G Oklahoma - He is a huge O-lineman, and i have a feeling whoever comes into detroit will want to bulk up this o-line and start running more to create playaction for Calvin Johnson to get a good laugh as he runs by the DB's
21. Arizona (9-7) Chris Wells RB Ohio State - I kind of like Moreno more here, but i aready have him picked...Injuries drop Wells to this spot...and unless the Cards win the Super Bowl I think Edge will stay true to his word and try and get out
22. Philadelphia (9-6-1) Jermaine Gresham - TE Oklahoma - McNabb won't need to know the rules of the game if he has Gresham to throw to...TE's aren't producing in Philly so this is a good pick
23. Minnesota (10-6) Alphonso Smith - CB Wake Forest - Winfield is a great corner to learn from...Griffin just isn't playing up to expectations so i feel the vikings take a CB here
24. New England (11-5) Brian Cushing - LB USC - Bill likes LB's that can cover the whole field....maybe a CB here but they had to sign Seau again i think they go LB
25. Atlanta (11-5) DJ Moore - CB Vanderbilt - I'm torn between Moore and Macho Harris..but Moore's stock is going up after good showings late i the season
26. Miami (11-5) William Moore - S Missouri - Miami has their string SS in Yeremiah Bell...with Moore at FS plug him in let him start and you can move onto the next area of need in th 2nd round
27. Baltimore (11-5) Jeremy Maclin - WR/KR Missouri - Have you seen him play this year? Idk if this pick even needs an explanation, pure talent here
28. Indianapolis (12-4) Percy Harvin - WR Florida - Seems Harrison's time is running out in Indy, Harvin could take the slot position and be put in the gameplan many different ways in Indy, his big play ability helps take pressure off a weak run game
29. Philadelphia - from Carolina (12-4) Hakeem Nicks - WR North Carolina - I know when people see this pick your surprised...but somebody should take a reach with him....this is THE big play spectacular catch receiver in this draft 6' 2" 210 and his whole career was a highlight reel
30. Pittsburgh (12-4) Phil Loadhalt - OL Oklahoma - Florida gave him some problems, but he should be fine and he is probably the best OL left
31. New York Giants (12-4) Clint Sintim - LB Virgina - With Umenyiora coming off injury they may keep Kiwunaka at DE or move him back to OLB...either way LB is one of their few weak spots
32. Tennessee (13-3) Darius Heyward-Bey - WR Maryland - I think Vince Young gets his job back, and he needs a big play receiver, Heyward-Bey can return kicks too and this offense could cause nightmares with the amount of speed they would have at RB,QB, and WR....I can see CB Trevard Lindley going in this spot too tho
