So much hype surrounding Julio Jones yet I haven't heard a thing about A.J. Green since he was drafted. Weird.

Atlanta however, can't get any better playoff positioning then they had last year. So I have no idea what could get them over the edge. I think they are trying to build a colts esque team, with a stacked offense and a below average defense.

That is because Atlanta is a hype machine and Cincy is not.

Hype machine? These are players talking about Julio, not the media. Maybe if AJ had more leaders and a QB around him you'd hear about him. Ocho leaving doesn't help either. Also I the addition of Julio was to help to take pressure off of Roddy and TG and add more explosive plays to the offense, which they were close to dead last in. Has nothing to do with a "Colts esque" team. And I'm sure the defense will improve, We didn't really lose anyone on defense so the chemistry will still be there.
Yea... about that...

You were saying the players have been saying Julio is a stud and has been doing great.
The players have already proven that they don't know shit. By voting on the top 100 and totally failing in doing so.
and btw Atlanta is a far larger then cincy as far as city/media/hype and that makes a difference.
Nothing against Julio, but I'd even go on a whim and say that AJ Green will have better stats then Julio this year, solely because he will be the only weapon in Cincy, so who else will they go to?

I dont get what the whole voting thing has to do with players on the team saying he's been a stud so far in camp. Tony Gonzalez doesn't know shit? :noidea:
I'm not really expecting Julio to have killer stats, not really worried about that. I just hope he can contribute to the team from the get go.
Seen this on the Bengals front page.. They're saying the same shit about AJ..
