An NFL team is obviously chock full of guys who were (for the most part, save guys like Willie Parker, etc) stars in college. Just a dumb statement to make all around.

The 01 Miami team was god, but they couldn't compete in the NFL, that's just foolish.

However, Forde is a dumbass, I think we can all agree on that.

That Miami team was so good it could've won the World Cup.

Pat Forde is the douchiest writer in America, i was fucking shocked when ESPN hired him.

Rick Pitino can do no wrong in his eyes, having a Louisville honk in the national media is not a good look.

I think people are skewed by the NFL success of the Miami players. That USC team was unparallelled at the college level.

I thought Forde wrote about basketball.

True there's way too much emphasis on things like how many NFL players so and so team had.

If you reassembled that same team after they received NFL experience, they'd compete in the NFL. The only weak point would be at QB, with Ken Dorsey, otherwise, they'd be a complete NFL team.

They had 51 players who at the very least had a cup of coffee in the NFL.

I agree with that, but he said they would compete that season. not after they got nfl experience

Oh, really? I'd love to see you try and prove how it was a bogus pass interference call.

Insert "Jeez not this shit again" meme here. I know it's not Ohio State fans fault, other fans bring it up, but they can never avoid the bait in this one.

People need to STFU about that shit, it was 6 years ago, and it was a legit call. Even if it wasn't, it was how the ref saw it, that's his job, he's paid to make the call, he made it, the game counts.

There is no point in arguing it sportsbuck, everyone who has a brain has seen those pictures a million times and sees Gamble is getting molested while the ball is in the air.

I just wish that same ref was working the 06 LSU-Auburn game.

2001 Miami is by far the best team of the decade... that 04 USC team is 2nd best but there's a good sized gap between the two and thats talking about how they performed that season at the college level.

                            P.I., defensive holding, facemask.

Take your pick. Glen Sharpe fucked up.

I actually don't even remember the play. I blocked everything out from that game after the Willis McGahee hit.

Just annoys me to this day.. much like it probably annoys you when people try to call USC national champs in 03.
