Taylor's exceptional "measurables" are what intrigue people, not his college production.
Bingo.

This just goes to show. College kids are dumb as shit. He could have came out last year and made millions and been a bust in the NFL. Now he won't make shit and will still be a bust.
Here is one of the best examples of amazing "measurables" gone wrong.
I don't know about you guys, but I still can't believe Dr. Z was so wrong about him. But I don't know if I can blame him really, I mean look at the pecs on that guy.

No, not really. Its a horrible example. Mandarich was a player of substance. He was arguably the greatest offensive tackle in college football history. He was a product of steroids, not measureables.
Guys who are measureables gone wrong are guys like Darrius Heyward-Bey (speed), Kyle Boller (speed, passing from knees), Dan McGwire (height), JaMarcus Russell (arm and speed), etc. These guys were never all that great in college, but they had one or two notable physical attributes.

LOLWUT?
I'd have gone with arm and size for Russell, his speed was above average for a guy his size but he wasn't running away from anyone. Another measureables guy was Ryan Leaf of course, for the arm strength and size.

Maybe I should have said "mobility" instead of speed. But "mobility" isn't really a measureable.
