Adam Schefter says the press conference is to announce his decision...not necessarily retirement.

    Fred Taylor for the HOF!

So, suicide watch official for nukleopatra? Not only Warner possibly retiring Friday, but a little over a week later Drew Brees plays in a Super Bowl...

Don't try to keep the hope alive, it's not working.

Kurt Warner isn't the type of person to hold a major press conference this soon, to report he's....coming back. It's over, man.. Suicide watch has officially begun.

When he does retire, nothing would be better than an obituary (no, a celebration of his career) with pictures and glorious details authored by his personal wishes-he-was-his-autobiographer Nukleopatra. I would thank that. This is your moment Nuk.

If he does retire it'll be a sad day. Marshall Faulk will probably cry like a baby.

Even if Warner retires, the door will still be open for his return as long as the Cardinals have Matt Leinart.

                      lol.

Not being a fan of either franchise he played for, Kurt was still fun to watch. And one of the NFL's "Feel Good" stories. He'll be missed, for a little while anyways. Then he puts on a suit and calls games, or does analysis.

I hope this happens because where ever he ends up he will without a doubt be the smartest person to talk football on the panel.

And if he doesn't have a suit, he can borrow one from his wife.

With Leinart at QB the Cards are going to go to a more power running team with Wells and Hightower. Either way I don't see the Cards being too good anymore.

Cardinals scheduled a press conference Friday for Warner to announce his retirement.
