Well it most likely aimed towards the school category, but on the saints boards most of the older audience seems like they asked for the monday off a LONG time ago. I mean like mid season time.

I wouldn't really care if the Super Bowl was moved to Saturday at all.

I have work on Monday mornings at 5 AM so I never drink on Sundays, if the Super Bowl was moved to Saturday then I would definitely drink. Either way, don't think it's a big deal. Fiscally speaking, though, I'd think that the economy would benefit from the Super Bowl being moved to Saturday.

Not to mention I wonder how many people call in sick the day after the Super Bowl. I heard the same report that someone else mentioned saying that the day after the Super Bowl is one of the lowest producing days of the year.

And moving the Super Bowl to Saturday is not a big deal at all. Some of you are acting like we're talking about moving thanksgiving or christmas. It's a football game.

Fine by me - means it will be on a Sunday afternoon here rather then a Monday afternoon, less chance of it clashing with work.

                I resent that comment.

No matter how hard you party (or not), if the game doesn't end before 11pm or 11:30 pm, you're not in bed before midnight, shit faced or not...

                      I'd still prefer sunday though.

There's going to be a big super bowl hangover in New Orleans on Monday. No one in that city is going to want to go to work, oh...wait, nevermind. lol.

PTI sucks. Its possibly the most annoying show on television. It is virtually unwatchable. If I want to see two douchebags try to "out-douche" each other while saying nothing of substance, I'll just log on to VSN and read through Maynard's and Killa Pand's postings.

Doesn't make sense from an economical stand point.

Saturday has to compete with a lot of shit, whereas Sunday is considered the lazy day, and all businesses are basically closed by 6 pm compared to the 8 or 10 pm on Saturdays.

The NFL is about ratings, and if you moved it to Saturday you'd see the ratings drop, making commercials less valuable, etc.

They'd get more viewers on a Sat. night.
