Yes, USC lost to Oregon St., and Washington isn't the greatest of opponents, but Pete Carroll has a strong case for what he said about the BCS. The computer is supposed to pick the winner of a playoff if it had one, so how could USC possibly drop two spots after whooping on Washington like they did?

How the playoffs STILL aren't in college football is beyond me.

And I think that Penn St should be #4 with Texas as #3, but there's still a lot of time left for that to shake up, although Penn St should easily run the table.

It truly is sad there isn't a set playoff system for College Football...D1 at least. It just makes things a lot more exciting, I mean if you win a bowl game, what are you? You are just the winner of that bowl game. You aren't a champion....outside of the National Championship, there is no value in winning games in my opinion.

CFB in my mind is the best sport out there and it's a shame there isn't a playoff for it. It COULD be that much better.

If penn st., tech and Bama go undefeated. We will be in the same predicament as we are every year. Someone is destined to get shafted.

If you look at the rest of Penn State's schedule their isn't much stopping them from reaching the National Championship.

They'll lose to Iowa on Saturday. If somehow they win that game which I don't believe is going to happen then they'll go down to MSU.

Penn State really isn't that good. They also have a history of laying big time eggs on the road against mediocre teams.

Bama wins again. I still think they should be number one this week just because they won on the road in a hostile environment. I want to see TT play on the road for me to think they're legit (Oklahoma will be the bar).

Florida just continues to impress. I can't wait to see what Saban comes up with for those guys in the SEC Championship.
